In just their 5th year of being a program Lee Miracle coached Campbellsville Women’s program to a WCWC National Title. Very impressive what Lee has been able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. In just a short time Lee has managed to out recruit and out develop several more established women’s programs like King’s College and Simon Frazier. Amazing job and I’m sure Campbellsville has realized they got quite a deal when they had Lee start the program. Kayla Miracle also tops off her senior year by winning her 4th individual national championship. She was in the last match of the finals and needed to win for Campbellsville to clinch the title. She closed it out with a pin. Great college career for very talented young lady. Now on to getting that World Title. You two have both represented Indiana Wrestling well and it is nice to see all the hard work pay off.

As a freshman he finished 3rd Sectionals 4th Regionals 3rd Semi state 8th state As a sophomore he just won semi state going through a gauntlet! 1st Sectionals 2nd Regionals 1st Semi state HE beat #10 raked Justice Cash Bl. North (44-2) in the ticket round 3-2. He then beat #9 ranked Rioux Avon (29-8) 1-0. In the final he beat #7 ranked Campbell of Brownsburg (28-6) 7-1

I would add Coach Trapp as well. He has been with those Kids since they were Peewee’s.

All of them got a ton of heart and no quit in them.

Not the most by any means.... but proud to say 1a Central Noble sends 4 to the bank and tie for 2nd in the team race. Proud to be a former Cougar!

I just wanna brag on my boy over and over again. He's 160, a sophomore, and wrestled for 182. This is his 1st time at Semi-State, although he didn't make it, he gave it his all. I'm proud of our CE Wrestlers!! Congrats to all going to State.

Smiley has been so tough to score on since he was a freshman. His head and hands are very difficult for most opponents. Viduya wrestles a riskier, more offensive style. I'm very interested in how he looks next weekend

Lessons learned, It is a long D-1 season. They need to peak in 3 weeks at Big's. If they stay healthy and rested they will do just fine.

As we approach what has to be one of the toughest days in all of sports in Indiana, let' aal ttke aa moment to recognize the efforts of the Coaches, Assistants, parents, and most of all the competitors who allow us the opportunity to witness their journeys. All I’m saying is at least live in a city before you say it’s worse than it used to be. You don’t have to one up me with where you’ve lived. I’m a born and raised Evansville guy who happened to live in Newburgh for 15 years and have also lived in VA, D.C. and Tampa. And I’m telling you from experience Evansville’s downtown is safer now than any time in last 25 years. I don’t wander off where the gun shots are and the increased crime rates you talk about are.
