rdrodd1
My nephew caught Howe at freestyle state in 08. Got in on a single on one side of the mat and couldn't finish by the time they got to the other side. Back to the center and Howe took him down and gator rolled him across the fair grounds to the parking lot. In all, about 15 seconds of wrestling. But we always joked about how he almost took Andrew down. rookie78 and Gasman

I don't know if he wins it, but he should be on it. He would take out a lot of those on it for sure. I suppose you could make an argument he should be in the 170 group. If you go back a bit further you could probably add his brother. Edited December 27, 2022 by gsmith58

ColdSkifan
Palmer in action here from 1984 Oklahoma v. Oklahoma State dual meet. His match begins right at the 1 hour and 45 minute mark. rhayes
By this time, his knee was completely destroyed. He tried to wrestle with it for a couple of years, this was the tail end of it. There is a whole story on how the knee was blown by his own teammates when he got there as a freshman because they were afraid he was going to take a major wrestler's spot (not going to name him). It is a very sad story.
