Sawyer Miller, 4th, 3rd, 2nd at state and then three time AA and a national championship at Indiana Tech

Glad to have him back in the room, working to add some new nominees for this question!

Definitely! Be curious to see how Bellmont fans rate their list & AC fans as well. I'd say Roe would have to be AC's top as the only state champ but a few others had high placements throughout their careers.

South Bend Riley- John “Ole” Galloway. 3 time state champ and Indiana Football Hall of Famer.  My dad’s best friend growing up, and I endured  stories about him growing up, assuming they were exaggerated.  Turns out, they were not.

This topic moved me to make a needed website for our team history lol.

East Noble Wrestling (google.com)

East Noble top 5 has to go

Taylor March 163-11 2/2/3/1

Garrett Pepple 136-7 X/2/2/1

Andy Uhl 145-10 Q/4/3/2

Connor Knapp 164-13 Q/4/3/4

Aidan Sprague 138-18 Q/6/6/5

Then it would have to be Nate and Jake Weimer who had remarkably similar careers.

Jake 126-36 X/Q/X/7

Nate 124-30 Q/8/x/Q

Of course, in 2 years Waylon Cressel very well may Have 3 Indiana titles to take the WC belt.

If he wins 3, I count his ND title and count him as a 4 timer.

A freshman Cressel vs a senior Goin... who's to say

I don’t think Jigger Smith of Muncie South ever won a state title, but wasn’t he state runner-up twice?

Yes he would be with 1st, 1st, Qualifier

then Carl Jackson 4th, 4th, Qualifier

If this is high school only, then I think Muncie North’s David Butler may have only placed once.

However, he had quite an accomplished International Greco-Roman career.
6th in 1986 World Championships

7th in 1989 World Championships

1st in 1987 Pan Am Games

2nd in 1991 Pan Am Games

1988 Summer Olympics Team USA

A wrestler from the Bloomington High school dynasty ,who gets over looked ,is Jim cornwell. Who in 1971 was on the USA all American team. Rare air  in those days.
