Had a team race been a stake, a voluntary MFF could swing a championship. It does not seem like a ref can overturn his own call, just because a coach approves of it. You couldn’t hear much on Flo. But it wouldn’t require the overturning of an official’s call. You can medically default at any time prior to the match actually being over. The glare from the lights on the mat is so bad you can barely see half the mat and seeing any detail on anything not on the side nearest the camera is next to impossible. It has been a problem all day. I really hope they address that next weekend.
