  1. Jay County regional had a lot of exciting match, as expected. Congratulations to Delta as they continue to be on the rise and claim a regional title. The lineup is loaded, and even guys who did not place where they hoped, they will be a a lot to handle going forward. Side note, and 100% respectfully, did the Eagles seem a little flat and not in their normal rhythm today?

  3. Too many hammers in those state finals. Guess it is unsafe. “Viewer discretion & permissions advised.”
  4. 106: Boyd, Barbosa, Byrum, Webb 113: Bollinger, Johns, Spears, Curtis 120: Jackson, Douglas, Sprunger, Faurote (tough weight class) 126: Mosier, Daniels, Rowles, Prough 132: Bradley, Mosier, Schortgen, Heskett 138: Wood, Boone, Dubach, Tuttle 144: Rhonemous, Hoppes, Bollenbacher, Wolpert 150: Luginbill, Jett, Martin, Witter 157: Davis, Meyer, Davenport, Duncan 165: Myers, Stebbins, Abbott, Cox 175: Russell, Palacios, Modglin, Flores 190: Currie, Wenk, Mendez, Ullom 215: Martin, Bluhm, Powers, Roach 285: Cruz, Moss, Wurm, Baker
  5. Coach yells, “He’s tired!!” (Opposing wrestler lowers level and precedes to blast double his kid)
  6. Quite the appeteaser put on by chefs Ricky Clark and Robert Samuels . These guys were serving up absolute bombs and the crowd was loving it!! SO LOUD
  7. It sure does NOT help athletes reach the tall task of obtaining a state title or even becoming a qualifier when you have the IHSAA “mixing things up” like a game. What are you doing? A young man from Rochester battles to the top for a HWT state title a few years ago, the school wins a semi-state, and now has to travel to take on titans & big dogs in Merrillville, Crown Point, Penn, Mishawaka, Chesterton, etc. I may be off my rocker, but explain to me how this “grows the sport” and “creates opportunities” for kids? This is not just in wrestling either.
  8. Solid lineup. Great for them getting to host and celebrate at home. Brownsburg was hoping for the same merriment.
  9. @GenHeavyHandz “I’m not impressed by your performance” -George St. Pierre I do on the other hand appreciate and respect (as it has been your M.O.) the efforts in going back a week to create some drama worth discussion. However, I’ve watched him and Kevon Russel wrestle and they leave a lot to be desired with the “hype” you’ve created for them Sir HeavyHandz. I get it, it is a different year, different crew, just let em wrestle.
  10. Al Smith finals starting…. “Oh My Goss” Who has a photo of that stare down?
  11. Alex Tsirtsis and Angel Escobedo should be in the conversation of best watched in Indiana.
  12. Being nearly 2 plus weeks in, I always like to hear and check in on numbers. How are numbers looking for your team this season? Is there growth, dip, or roughly the same? What are some of the reasons you’re seeing these differences?
