Ooh! This is fun! I’m gonna reach reaaaallly hard and claim #60 for Christian Carroll, whose brother wrestled for Jimtown.

Edit: Better yet, I’m going to be shameless and claim Christian as an outright Jimmie.

That 0.5 O/U for state champs and teams in the Top 10 are probably mutually dependent. If Ruble wins it all, I think Bellmont has a shot to sneak into the Top 10. But short of that, I don't see a path for FW getting a Top 10 team.

Being from the FW SS originally, I'm pulling for them to keep it going, but even with 28 placers, that 9.5 number of semi-finalists is going to be a challenge. I think they'll pull off enough minor upsets to do it, but there aren't 10 favorites in those 28 matches.

Sorry to respond to my own post: Looking strictly at rankings, FW has 5 favorites from its 28 quarterfinals: Ruble, Abbott, Porter, Buchanan, Veazy. They'll need to get those 5 plus another 5 rankings upsets to get above that 9.5 O/U number.
