  1. I thought Brownsburg was going to get destroyed by a list of a dozen schools beginning last year? Something about how something of ours were going to get eaten. We weren't interested by the way. Throw out your backhand compliments. We are often criticized. It has worked out okay for us. When contenders are mentioned, we seem to always be in the conversation....unlike someone else, we didn't make a guarantee of winning or list all the schools that were going to beat another school. We just show up and do work. ...and to bring up feeder schools?!?!?!!?!? ? HAHAHAHAHAHA....both of our middle schools are strong. Our Elementary Dual team consistently competes at a high level. Yes, we have strong feeders. I know our coaching staff could never compete with that of Indy Schools, but yeah Smiley was an okay addition. Ayersman guy did okay. HWT coaches took a beginner to a state championship. I have a had a tad success here and at Mishawaka, etc. etc. Keep talking and we will keep working. Snyder

    Best to come up short

Riley Lefever was a Fargo runner up, a 4x D3 champ and he beat a sr level world bronze medalist, he also lost 2-0 to JDen Cox... Not sure if this is still a conversation.

  4. Yes in all years past it was at NC the day after semi state. It was the Sunday after the sectional last year at CG. This year, it is the Sunday after the regional at CG. I also know that in year 2021 it will be hosted by Carmel.

  5. Brownsburg doesn’t talk and make guarantees or backhand compliments about coaching staffs or feeder programs. I would put my staff and our feeder programs against about anyone in state. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that And we don’t need marketing. Have a large, passionate fan base and people seem to talk about us a lot...but thanks and good luck.

  6. Still is. One of, if not, the best coaches I’ve ever had...tons of love for the Sessa family.

  9. I knew you couldn’t lay off. The only “talk” on this site comes from #theCounty. I was just trying to help you with your 2019-2020 marketing. Good luck this season, coach.

    Number of Dual Meets

Minimum single duals is 6, the max is basically 18. 60-2 The maximum number of season wrestling dual meets in which any team or student may participate, excluding the IHSAA Tournament Series, shall be Eighteen (18); however, a team or student may participate in additional season tournaments (an interschool wrestling Rule 60 - Wrestling 116 meet which involved Three (3) or more schools is a tournament) up to a maximum of Six (6), provided each tournament counts as Two (2) of the Eighteen (18) dual meets. A triangular meet (double dual) is counted as Two (2) dual meets towards a team’s Six (6) dual meet maximum. Each weigh-in for any tournament shall count as only One (1) weighin toward the minimum requirements for IHSAA Tournament Series qualification. There is therule and I'm thinking the highlighted maximum is meant to be minimum.

  13. Not a chance. Crown Point or EMD are faves in my oracle. Littel injury will make it all interesting. Still think #theCounty will be dominant as usual. They have the best feeders and coaches in the state after all. Wish I lived on the west side of Indy so I could be surrounded by that wrestling brain trust.

    Mike Golando

I am very sad to share with you the message that one of Indiana's best wrestling officials passed away suddenly Sunday, October 27th, after suffering a heart attack. My good friend Mike Golando worked very hard to be the very best official he could be, and generously shared his knowledge and experience with others in an effort to improve the quality of both wrestling and officiating in Indiana. He shared his love of our sport with everyone who knew him. I am grateful for the times we were on the mat together, and I will miss him very much. The sport of wrestling in Indiana is lessened with this loss. Mike is survived by his wife Sandy, their two children, and one grandchild.
