#11 Branson Weaver 15-0 wins by pin over Kelby Glenn 19-1. Kelby was up 5-3 in the 3rd when Branson pinned him.

Kelby isn't ranked in state or semi state but he's been around forever. He lost to Joey Butler 7-4 in the ticket round.

Look for Weaver and Glenn at semi state to try their best to punch their ticket.

Smith was up 10-3 with approx :50 left in 3rd before injury.

Keegan will be ok as hes a hammer.

Perry Meridian wins the Marion County Championship by a HAIR over a game Warren Central. The Warriors led for most of the day until the final round where the Falcons pulled ahead and kept a decent lead, but the east side grapplers slowly cut into it. Heading into 285, it was 255.0 to 254.0, but Perry’s 220 Jordan Dale won for 5th and Jack Broadwell of Beech Grove pinned Warren’s Perris Green who got upset in the semis by Perry’s Nolan Martin 11-6, which made the final score 257.0 to 254.0. Big win for the Falcons.

pinned Purdue Poly Tech’s Silas Foster in overtime after a wild 10-10 score through six minutes in the finals.

If that would have been in the finals of the Madison County Tournament today at say 220, the match would have been stopped after the 2 was awarded with the opponent on his back. Ref seemed to indicate match was over after the 2? SMH....

At 120, NC SS #8 & #1 seed Ezra Fye lost first round 5-4 to Madison-Grants Haisley in a very close exciting match. Fye then lost to Lapel's Buzan 6-1 in conso's & won the 5th place match by fall.

Some solid wrestling there today.
