Y2CJ41
We have people who claim they can predict the draws, but are holding that information secret. Please reference @Bashin142 and @Clint Gard. They seem to have them and are 100% accurate in predicting them. However, both refuse to show us what they will be. In other news I can dunk a basketball, however do not ask me to prove it as I don't have to. tangarrray, Cricket21, Clint Gard and 8 others 1

BIGCATSontheMAT
Those 2 are just trolling. If they really had the brackets predicted at 99% correct, they would post them. They are just lying to get attention from everyone that is waiting to see the brackets or formula Coplen187, Y2CJ41 and Clint Gard 1

RAJR
I am just planning on not having them until tomorrow at 3:30pm when Track says they will be released. That way I don't get my hopes up and become disappointed. Now, if the very generous and nice folks of the IHSAA release the formula earlier, will just be a bonus! Almost like Christmas morning as a kid. Edited February 4 by RAJR typos

Almost like Christmas morning as a kid. It says the information will be released to the public tomorrow, but if the brackets aren't built, I just checked and they haven't been, all you will see are the participants names when 3:30 comes around and that's it. You won't see who is wrestling who. The complete lack of communication about this stuff is baffling. It's not hard to send out an email to tell people when the brackets will be built. I've said it before, it really seems as though some people enjoy holding this power over people's heads. I’m simply not going to spend my entire Sunday proving you wrong when I already have. From the get go I have said two things…we did it for our guys and got it right for our former SS. I have also said they aren’t random. Multiple people have made the same type of statements. To prove something is correct it has to be correct for all possibilities. Multiple people have stated that some weight classes are the same for multiple years based on what they have seen. You only need one example to prove something is false. We have multiple examples. So, it’s not random. about it. Coplen187 and HeadLocksWinChampionships

boilergrappler
I would be curious to know how other state wrestling series tourneys do there thing. Do other states have a high school authority that really gives no public knowledge to how they select brackets? Why not have a selection show online with a draw?? Christopher Bohn
Illinois had their regionals yesterday (they do regionals, sectionals, state) and when I checked last night around 8, they already had their sectional brackets built and released. 11 minutes ago, boilergrappler said: I would be curious to know how other state wrestling series tourneys do there thing. Does the IHSAA have anything to do with organizing the girls state event? I figured that was all the IHSGW groups organizing, including creating the bracket formula.
