Let’s not forget that Hartleroad IS a Fargo champion. While I’m still shocked Paul Clark lost, it shouldn’t be surprising Hartleroad can beat that caliber of talent.

Good call. That completely slip my mind from this summer until you brought it up.

I am also shocked Paul lost.  I'm also shocked Paul was able to get off his back at the end of 2.  Hartleroad wrestled a great match and deserved the win.

Maybe we should just stop the tournament and move it to Indy on Monday.

Not sure if you are being serious, but would probably do better than here in Evansville.  I really don’t mind the actual venue. It’s just the location of said venue. It does need to be more centrally located to get the most spectators. I really believe that the kids deserve a large crowd. They have been wrestling their butts off. There are no slouches in this building today.

Clark was up 4-1 late in the second, shoots in on a blast double. The thick-thighed, Fargo Greco champ hips in with double overs to his back for 5. Down 7-4 just past a minute to go in the 3rd, Clark was toast and was desperately in on a single. Hartleroad was still looking fresh and fairly easily hipped into him again for 4 more to seal it.
