Give me the over for MD wrestlers to make it to state. If the line is 5.5

I hope you're right, but have my doubts.  I figured it at 4.5 at first glance.  Personally I think they'll advance between 3-5.  Guess I'll dig into the brackets and matchups tonight to see if I change my mind.  I would love your thoughts on who gets through, however.

I think MD gets 3-4.  Schaefer, Seng and May for sure.  138 Vanover has a good chance as well, but will have a tough ticket round match.  The rest have uphill battles to make it through

I just went through all brackets with focus on the MD guys.  Here is how I have it broken down...

3 at greater than 75% chance to advance
3 at 50% chance to advance
3 at 25-40% chance to advance
4 at under 25% chance to advance

I'll leave the individual names out, though it wouldn't be difficult to figure out.  So I'm right there with you, the odds are 4, maybe 5.  If they beat those #s, good on 'em!

Here's to hoping 2 of their guys(Turner and Martin) are good to go after suffering injuries at regional.

Didn't know about Turner.  Hope he can go for the kid's sake.  But a Ticket Round Match against Ruhlman makes for a TALL mountain to climb.

Martin is definitely a big question mark.  Is he healthy?  Can he avenge last year's loss to Rose?

Would definitely be nice to see those guys get their shot, especially Martin being a Senior.

I am hoping MD can have Schaefer, Seng, May, both Vanovers, and a Pierre. Those are  the 6 I hope can make it. Also with the regards to injuries Turner is fine, it was Martin and Schapker who got hurt this past weekend, both of them also receiving really good draws as a 4 seed. So hoping they get healthy and can give themselves a shot at qualifying

Looks like Clay Martin is out of the bracket at 220.  In his place is Justus Dill of Gibson Southern, 12-20.  Dill is a sophomore who lost by fall to Mason Hines in the first round of the Regional.  I'm sure this will be a nice experience for Justus and a real bummer for Martin who is a senior.  :(

On a separate note: As I went through the brackets, I saw a likely Ticket Round Match between Evan Seng and Keith Parker of Ben Davis.  Parker has 3 losses on the season, all 3 in Sudden Victory.  So while I think most people will have Seng penciled into their Pick 'Em's, don't sleep on that Ticket Round Match!

Tyler Vanover will have a very difficult time with Reese Courtney.  I actually think Courtney will win that ticket.

Vanover won their match at Team State in SV.  I'd call it a true toss up and Courtney has a great shot for sure.

Correction: Vanover won 5-4 in TB-1.  Just re-watched the match.  Very even in terms of control, shots taken, defended, etc. and of course, score.

Biven from Pike might make a nice run. He is a tough kid, and never gives up.

Of course, I am partisan observer. I hope he makes it through so i can see him next Friday at the parade of champions. He is one of my students

Biven was tough at Connersville. Turned some heads for sure.

Great News for Dill and Gibson Southern, who now has 2 SSQ. Both young men (Dill and Klem) will have a great experience to build off of. I am sorry for Martin, this is not the way anyone wants to end a season, especially not the senior one.  Good luck to him in his future endeavors.

Martin could throw almost anyone needing to come back in a match. Very fun wrestler to watch.
