  1. All the colleges are having games leading up to their playoffs too. IU, Purdue, Indiana State, Ball State, Notre Dame, Valparaiso, Butler all have basketball commitments. I am honestly surprised the GLVC is letting ISHAA entertain the thought of the Ford Center as a venue.
  2. I think you are referring to Austin Vanover's ticket match. Let's just say Greg argued successfully and Owen Valley didn't even go to the scorers table to object. Schaefer in your corner is 2 points.
  3. when he wrestles up to get tested by another state champ. Similar concept when Seltzer wrestled up to challenge Mendez. Zeke lost 4-3, but it was Mendez 6 pounds heavier.
  4. Tylin Thrine... he can win the next 3 and have a career record of 210-2 . I was very impressed with his performance on the mat.
  5. What's even more impressive is Center Grove brought 12 to Evansville and left with 12 qualified for State. I don't remember any school doing anything of that magnitude. Sure, Mater Dei has qualified 14 for Semi State before, and got 7 or 8 through to state, but 12 for 12 is very impressive.
  6. It's hard to be undefeated by this stage of the game. Schoeff is the guy in 138 I would put bananas on.
  7. Tyler Vanover will have a very difficult time with Reese Courtney. I actually think Courtney will win that ticket.
  8. first and foremost, I hope Clay Martin from MD is healthy. The ref was slow on stopping dangerous moves.... twice. Second, if healthy, he has a brutal match opening round that he might actually win. In 138, I am pretty sure the winner of Weaver/Goff will best Rose for a ticket. In 106, Byrd will beat Dickman. Ty Henderson got a takedown under :15 to win 7-6. Byrd is as strong as a mighty Oak and it will be more than Dickman can handle.
