At the Traicoff today, 144 pounder Jeffrey Huyvaert of New Prairie majored Dillon Graham of Indianapolis Cathedral 17-6 and 150 pounder Jayden Lewis of New Prairie with the decision over Michael Ortega of Portage 8-2.

What’s up with Dylan Graham? That’s nearly a technical fall ? Injured ?

Sometimes you Win, Sometimes you Learn . Good wrestlers close the gap if they face again.

Just my thoughts 💭

Agreed! Just would not have expected that.

hard to say though without seeing the match. Sometimes scores don’t tell the whole story of a match though

Not injured…it was 15-3 with a few seconds left in the 2nd and Graham got a reversal. All Graham’s other points were from Huyvaert cutting him. Does everyone forget that Huyvaert gave Solomey his only loss last year?

Why does he have to be injured ? He wrestled the Top Ranked Center Grove kid days before and it was won 4-2 in last 30 seconds . Huyvaert is tough and styles make matches . The greatest thing about this sport is it can all change from day to day .

Even before this result , Huyvaert is my early pick to win a title .
