The one on the calendar is a team Duals middle school state I believe. CG will be hosting the individual again this year and I have heard it will be Feb. 9th

Aaron was so good. My dad used to take me to watch Lake Central wrestle and I loved watching Aaron. Was definitely a stud.

B. Campbell-New castle 2x runner up.. undefeated freshman year until appendix burst as well T. Coatie-Perry/New Castle- 3 sport all state athlete.. Didn't start till freshman year and beat State Champion Danny williams and runner up -Conkling in the same season Nate Newport- Franklin Central All time great match vs Mauer in the finals and overall beast Alex DOLLEY- another unreal match vs Mauer in the finals and multiple time placer. Matt Jaggers-New Castle over 210 wins and entered state his Jr. And sr. Season 50+-0 .. 4x SQ AND 3x placer.. 3x NC SS Champ losing to Angel in the finals A.Sessa- Lake central-4x placer 2x runner-up..

Great question. There is no IHSWCA Middle School State on the ISWA event calendar. But I am pretty sure it was there last year..... I thought it would be at Center Grove moving forward.... But there is an ISWA Middle School State listed on the ISWA event schedule for 2/23/2020 at Carmel HS....

I'd like to think Nathon Walton from the Burg is definitely on that list. Runner-up senior year, takes third the year before. Loses a close match to Lucas Davidson in the semis that same year.

I am very sad to share with you the message that one of Indiana's best wrestling officials passed away suddenly Sunday, October 27th, after suffering a heart attack. My good friend Mike Golando worked very hard to be the very best official he could be, and generously shared his knowledge and experience with others in an effort to improve the quality of both wrestling and officiating in Indiana. He shared his love of our sport with everyone who knew him. I am grateful for the times we were on the mat together, and I will miss him very much. The sport of wrestling in Indiana is lessened with this loss. Mike is survived by his wife Sandy, their two children, and one grandchild.
