    Best clubs?

Contenders is killing it. Based off of state where their wrestlers win the first 5 weights and middle school state some of the best wrestlers in the state are in that room. In the region you have a couple NCAA champs running practices Howe- Andrew Howe, Jon Morrison and Bobby Joe Maldonado that is a a great group of coach’s RWA- Jason and Alex Tsirtsis, Kique Escobedo and Paul Petrov who are all great coaches congratulations to Mt Carmel on winning Illinois state Bulldog Premier and Elite Athletic club do a great job also further east Midwest Training Center has All American Chris Fleeger towards Fort Wayne The Fort had 3 guys who won state championship training there warrior rtc at Indiana tech is doing a great job!

    Indiana Wrestling

As the Indiana high school wrestling season comes to an end…Just wanted to give a big shout out to all of the Indiana clubs and coaches. First generation wrestling family here. My boys were introduced to the sport by their uncle/cousin. Such a great sport and community! We have met so many great people and competitors. Blessed to have such a great community and support system. The boys have had club coaches from all over the state help in their corner multiple times w/ no ties to the boys whatsoever. Just there to support Indiana wrestling. Another big shout out to contenders and red cobra. Both have been home clubs w/ outstanding coaches and partners!! This forum and the wrestling community is outstanding.

  4. Bored and haven’t done this in awhile. Obviously we’ll never see them, but take your picks on these fantasy matches. 113: Revin Dickman (Brownsburg) vs. Alex Cottey (Perry Meridian) 120: Charlie LaRocca (Center Grove) vs. Drew Hildebrandt (Penn) 132: Jake Hockaday (Brownsburg) vs. Zeke Seltzer (Cathedral) 165/170: Waylon Cressel (Warren Central) vs. Dylan Lydy (Ben Davis) 215/220: Will Clark (Crown Point) vs. Gelen Robinson (Lake Central)

  5. Wow, 14th amongst some of tue legends here isn't bad. But my takes are Y2CJ41-man who brought us all together Hook and half- great year to year write ups Team Garcia- no one tops his memes and insight from the county better. FCFIGHTER170- insightful and full of history knowledge.

Cant comment on his tragic situation . When he wrestled at MD Classic he was excellent wrestler . Hate to see this . Condolences to the family of the other wrestler . Sad to see and hear .

Maurer Coughlin, Contenders and Red Cobra would be a little bit longer of a drive.

  14. It has to be some form of @FCFIGHTER170, @GenHeavyHandz, or @TeamGarcia. Certainly Mt. Rushmore. For hilarity DogPoundRed or Caliboy.

  16. No it's to disparage the Fort Wayne semi-state as much as possibly can. Why not compare to New Castle or East Chicago? The Mooresville regional had 6 champs, 14 in the top 4, and 21 total placers. Fort Wayne had 3 champs and 12 in the top 4. New Castle had 4 champs and 10 in the top 4. East Chicago had 1 champ and 10 in the top 4. The rest of Evansville had 0 champs and 2 in the top 4. Yet here we are trying to make the Fort Wayne semi-state look bad.

  17. You can’t disrespect and then say no disrespect. Once again our kids are working hard and getting results. We are proud of our student athletes in our Semi-State and the Carroll Regional which produced two state champions. Enjoy the excellent wrestling in your area. You don’t have take a dump on us to do so.

  18. Easton was usually 1-2 lbs. under Thursday-Friday. Eating 3 times a day through the week. Pick a weight, like you said Nick, that you can concentrate on getting better at wrestling and not loosing weight. Made the most difference in Easton's success this year. It does take some discipline on both the wrestlers and parents, but meal prepping was also a huge part of it. We would cook all his meat (chicken, hamburger, steak, pork chops) on Sunday or Monday for the week and he would pack it for his lunches and take to school. So many little things go into being successful and these are just a few. It takes time also, this has been something me as a father, his mother and Easton have been trying to dial in for a few years now.

  19. The best way to curb that is for injury time that the coach cannot attend to the wrestler and a trainer/doctor must attend to them. Along with not allowing water or anything like that.

While I know he isn't "Indiana" wrestler, this is a young man many were familiar with. While it's still under investigation, sad to see someone so promising in a situation like this. https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/12203752-campbellsville-wrestler-killed-former-team-member-charged-with-murder
