SWINfan
Cooper Noehre got a nice win. He was very aggressive from the beginning and owned the match on his feet. Had a chance for a major decision, needing a takedown late. Gave up one instead in the last 10 seconds, but came away with a 10-5 dec Jayruss

SWINfan
Macartney Parkinson gets a really nice win over Jack Jessen. Jessen got 2 takedowns in the first period taking a 4-1 lead. Parkinson proceeded to ride Jessen like a mule, getting a 4 point and 2 point NF, riding him the whole period. Parkinson, chose top and rode Jessen the entire 3rd period as well. A stall point and riding time made the final 9-4.

He wasn't good last week either. Hopefully he gets better or they find someone better.

Would have loved to see him face Lucas Davison. It was noted on the broadcast they expect Davison back in a couple of weeks.

Thor
And that’s how you debut a season! Take notes IU. Not sure how many starters Northwestern was down, 2 that I know of, and Purdue was down 4 or 5, depending if some of these guys actually took some spots. MattM
Indiana guys with a solid showing in this one. Wish we would have saw a couple more, but it seems like some coaches are being more conservative with their dual lineup due to the dynamics of this shortened season. base
Great start for Purdue. IU has been getting a lot of the big name Indiana kids, but these Purdue wrestlers are doing well at the college level! Two thumbs up for the job Ersland is doing Thor
