Joker
This dual is a few days away what do you guys think? Like always it should be some good wrestling. Heard a RUMOR that one of the better guys from cp has a serious injury. Not trying to spread anything as I said it's just a rumor maybe someone from cp can confirm or deny this rumor. macdaddy
Portage has wrestled both and I believe Merrillville is the team to beat. I think it will be close because it is a rivalry, but Merrillville should win.
MAJAM152
I think Merrillville has more of a solid line up and should pull off the win. Anyone have info on a possible injury to one of there wrestlers. To close to tournament time I hope it ain't serious!

I think it will be close because it is a rivalry, but Merrillville should win. You might be correct but it is all about match ups. How many times have we seen team A defeat team B and then team C defeats team A only to have team B defeat team C ! An injury to a CP kid would be huge in this war. cbarnett
It's on wed. Jan. 6th. At 6:30 I believe At Merrillville High School in the fieldhouse.
ontherise219
is it really at merrillville? should be a good one CP still has some horses Hawkins Tsirtsis Shurg Flamme and Roach. Kral and Berry at 189 should be a good one. Maybe we can see a Napules vs Tsirtsis 3 but probably not. I think it will be very close CP could win 19 30 35 40 45 52 Maybe
Merlyn
This match could be split 7-7, but I think Merrillville has the advantage with bonus points. Always a fun meet to watch, though. It is in the gym or the fieldhouse?
AJ
Points will be at a premium, so any bonus points will be magnified! A great dual!
DuneFan
I think Merrillville will win, but not by 18 points., and Mr. Barnett, I have heard from a source very close to to the AD's that the meet will be held in the gym, not the fkieldhouse. Regionrat1
sOULD BE A GOOD ole one . My thought is dat merryville is a better dual team while DA dogs might be a better tournament team. Should be mitty interesting ! Well dare might be enough room in da gym for da dual/ however we all know about da semi state mess !!

thatguy
Its going to be close, could see it 7-7 match wise but would not be suprised if it is descided by someone avoiding getting put on there back for 6.
Midwest Wrestling Fanpage
Tyler Kral will win vs. Berry maybe even a pin.

DuneFan
If my memory serves me right I think Vlink has won a team championship, I don't believe Maldonado has. Don't get me wrong, he is a great coach, but so is Vlink and he has last yer's team trophey to prove it.

Don't get me wrong, he is a great coach, but so is Vlink and he has last yer's team trophey to prove it. Well, let's just say with the well timed "movin-ins" (Halsted, Roach, Tsirtsis), CP gained a nice team. No greatness on Vlink's part. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. Without those studs, CP doesnt even get past Merrillville at Team Regionals last year. A great coach like Maldonado builds em from the ground up. clive2246
How is Halsted a move in?? He's been in CP for many many years. As far as not getting past Merrillville at least year's team regionals...Halsted and Tsirtsis BOTH lost, the final score was 34-20. I guess groundhog doesn't know what he is talking about.
