  1. Connor and Brandon worked out together today. NDC is not only eligible for D2 championship, they are the host school this year.
  2. round 2 @ 152 could have #1 ranked Mullins vs. #3 ranked Richey, alot ot people thought this one would be under the lights.
  3. in the past there has been a thread where the ranked wrestlers tourney progress was charted. it showed how far they advanced and if they lost , who beat them. anyone going to do this, this year?
  4. Mullins didn't blow it. The coaching staff did, connor was .3 under on the scales provided by them and they did not get the team to weighins on time for the wrestlers to use the check scales. It was the coaches responsibility to get the team there on time, they failed to do so, even after staying in Kokomo the night before.
  5. North Central Conf. @ Logansport 1/21/12 Anderson Muncie Central Richmond New Castle Kokomo Logansport Marion Huntington North
  6. Mullins/Goodnight score was 5-0, TD in 1st, 3NF in 2nd and no scoring in 3rd
  7. Mullins over Brown by fall early in 2nd period. Mavros did not make the trip, sick. Mullins will wrestle 160 tomorrow.
  8. day #1 could see #1 Mullins vs #5 Brown, #5 brown vs 39 Mavros. day #2 could see #1 Mullins vs #9 Mavros, #1 Mullins vs #6 Goodnight (160)
  9. 3 of the top 10 ranked 152lbers and 2 ranked 160s, going to be exciting.
  10. rather have the studs in middle of lineup, you can usually run into ffs at the top and bottom of the order, that's where i'd take my chances
  11. New Castle defeated Richmond the same way. 42-42, 7 falls each, had more first pts scored.
  12. thanks Joe, I still remember wrestling at Decatur Central as a soph for Ben Davis,, long time ago '73 Hate to see them lose it.
  13. fc215, I think it was the wording you used. Maybe saying you didn't think he was a #1 wrestler might have been better than #1 kid. He most definately is a #1 yiung man!
  14. Mullins' losses have been: freshman year 4losses- opening week loss to Kenney (Jay Co.) returning state runnerup, 2 losses to Kieffer and Hawkins soph. 1 loss, quarter finals at state to Tsirtsis jr. 3 losses Ehr, M Johnson and Welch of the 8 losses, 7 were to state finalists, 3 champs, 3 runnersup and a 5th , Ehr being the only exception and he may have been a qualifier in previous years, I don't know.
  15. Best wishes to Wes and family, Joe Mullins New Castle WC
  16. didn't understand original post, 4 30 + winners in same bracket is awesome, should create some exciting matches.
  17. New Castle's Campbell ( 103, 112, 119) and Mullins 112, 130, 152) have had 40+ wins after sedctionals 3 years in a row.
  18. NC SS @ 152 will be a gr8 one to watch, 3 of the top 5 and 7 of top 14 ranked wrestlers, some very good wrestlers wont get thru this one. Eville SS @ 152 will be good comp. to watch with 7 of top 20, including 16-20, very close, should be exciting and unpredictable. Good Luck to each and every competitor.
