Veazy was down by two with 5 seconds left and pulls out a take down and turn to win by 2. Amazing match kid! Needed that win to secure AA status.

Have to go all the way to Fargo to wrestle the team less than 10 miles from us. Revin Dickman vs Nate Rioux in the consolations, loser goes for 7th. Congrats to both young men for achieving All-American status.

We had a rougher blood round losing a few closes one, but get two more All-Americans for a record of 7 in junior freestyle. We are sitting in 4th place as a team in striking distance of the other three states. In order to win we would need to get a few champs and hopefully at least another finalist. Scoring is as follows, so a semi-finals win is HUGE 1st 25 2nd 20 3rd 17 4th 12 5th 9 6th 7 7th 5 8th 2 The most finalists we have had was 2004 when we had Matt Coughlin, Angel Escoebedo, and Alex Tsirtsis in the finals. The most champs we had was two, back in 2018 with Lucas Davison and Brayton Lee.

Indiana went 5-2 in the quarters, 5 guaranteed All-Americans. We need six to tie the record in 2013. The highest we have ever finished as a team was 5th in 2004 and 2013. We have four left in the blood round for some much needed team points.

Juniors are killing it. Indiana tied for 3rd in points right now.

I don’t have Twitter, so yes that’s my loss. I do know cadet 94 lb, freestyle state champ Brady Byrd went 2-2 and was eliminated

I know it's been awhile since I updated the rankings, but I plan on an update later today or tomorrow. So please send me any info you might have on a kid on the list or a kid deserving of being ranked. I have records for freestyle duals, but could use some help in other random results that are collected through floarena. Virginia Beach, central regional, and freestyle duals will be looked at for this update. Fargo will be the last tournament for rankings before I remove the in coming high schoolers.

There is a ton of talent in middle school, but not sure if there is anybody quite like landon hawkins right now. He has been knocking off some of the countries best! He has a unique style and stays chill under pressure. Will be fun to watch all the up and coming middle schoolers in the next couple years!
