irishfb88
Belmont is favored in 6 weight classes (106, 126, 138, 170, 195, and 285) Jay County is favored in 3 weight classes (145, 152, and 220) 5 weight classes are a toss up (113, 120, 132, 160, and 182) Personally, I think Belmont will do better in 9 maybe 10 weight classes but if some of the toss ups go Jay County's way, it could be interesting! Should be a very entertaining Saturday!
Thor
182 is not a toss up Friedt may pin everyone. Chapman from Jay County may have one loss but I wasn't impressed by him enough at conference to think he can hang with Friedt
casualwrestlingfan
Think Bellmont wins this year and Jay County will be a respectable 2nd. If his record continues to be like it was at South Adams, Jay County will definitely be a contender to knock them off.

warsawwrestling
More like South Adams will be a contender to knock everyone off. I heard they have some kid Sawyer Miller or something like that in the room time to time showing some nasty moves. Just a rumor.. hope not that is an ISHAA violation
maligned
Noticed that Bellmont has five #1's and Jay County has four #1's...Is Jay getting better to where they are starting to push Bellmont? Or is Bellmont down? What does the future look like in this sectional? Should be an interesting tournament for JC. They've only got 2 seniors, so they're going to be very tough next year. Depending on how the new classification numbers come out (we won't know final classification for next year's event until post IHSAA state), they could be close to 2A for Team State and they'd have a great shot of getting in. They're also probably the only team with a genuine outside shot to upset Carroll in the race for the 3A spot out of Fort Wayne if they stay in 3A. Carroll will be sledding uphill a bit with 7 seniors in their lineup. With 12 underclassmen, if things fall right, JC will be on their heels. littlevito
Jon Becker has been battling a very bad case of mono and will not be able to compete in Sectionals. He tried his best to get back, but even on Thursday you could tell there was no chance. Sucks for a two time state qualifier to end his senior year this way.
