Fort Wayne Semi-State

Any predictions for this? What weights/matches are you really looking forward to?

Glogouski and Phillips is going to be amazing in the ticket round. It really sucks that one of them won't make it to state, but it will make the match better in my opinion. More at risk will likely make the two go absolutely all out and wrestle hard to the very end. I'm going with Glogouski on the upset.

I know this is my first post but I have been reading all year.

I am looking at 285 class and see a powerful underdog with an interesting chance to squeeze by. Peckham from Monroe Central. The kids resilient and has the skills. He has flown under the radar with a 35-5 record. Time will tell but if anyone squeezes in by upset my bets on him.

Also at 132, Baysinger from Yorktown is hot right now. 152 watch Isaah Bradley from Mucie South. The kids smooth and on a mission.

Good to know about Peckham. Will have to look for a hopefully exciting match.

I think the best matches throughout the bracket will be at 120. Seems there are a variety of picks at that weight. I will also pick Adams at 170. Should be a great match up. One of the best of the day

Sadly, 2 of the top 4 in my opinion at 120 won't be moving onto state because of the Glogouski/Phillips and Moser/Chafin ticket round matches.

I hear Logan Neher of Bellmont will be wrestling at semi state now at 152. What's the deal on this?

not sure.... but I do know that Wyatt did not participate in his 3rd/4th place match...

If he is out because of injury then that is disappointing for the senior...

I ll take ross if he has a good gas tank in that one

Goose I gotta go with you on this one.  I know Linnear is a great wrestler and has hardware from last year, but I watched Ross wrestle at Regional last week and he is an impressive young man.  You also hit the nail on the head with the 'gas tank'...what it will take to beat him is conditioning.  If Linnear can use him up in the first 2 periods I think he could beat him...again that's IF he lasts that long!

285 may be the most exciting class of the day when it is all said and done. I am excited to see Beard for the first time this year, and to see how Hemmelgarn does.

it will be exiting if it starts with overtime...
