Who’s got some sleepers that are starting to make some noise and primed for some upsets this week and weeks to follow ?

who’s flying under the radar for a finals run or high placement ?

any predictions of upsets this week?

I was shocked by the wrestler from John Glenn HS almost stunning Demarco at the 132! No slander to Demarco he’s a TOUGH wrestler. I just had never heard of the John Glenn wrestler.

Are you talking about Walter Drews?

Looks like Frankton SR Crew Farrell (26-2, #9 State/#5 SS) is OUT at the Pendleton Heights regional after he won the Elwood sectional last week. Not sure what happened as he beat Noblesville SR Carter Richardson (#20 State/#10 SS) 2-1 in the finals. Assuming an injury in practice? Either way, hate to see a season end that way, especially for a senior.

Thrine over Hockaday 5-4. Hopefully it winds up being under the lights.

I hope Sonny and thrine are on the same side so we can get a shot to reverse that Frazier match.

Love Thrine's style but just think missing half the season is going to hurt him against a wrestler of Hockaday's caliber. Hopefully they're on opposite sides so fans get to enjoy this anticipated matchup.

A lot of the Tylin Thrine takes feel like forced hate. He’s a literal nationally-ranked state champion, and all season I’ve seen posters act as if he doesn’t stand a chance towards Hockaday or even Isaiah Schaefer when there was some talk as if he would go 126. Yet, a lot of those same posters were ready to crown Nick Lee ten years ago before he even had a title over Micic and then were totally confident he’d beat Red in HS after he won a title. Y’all had that amount of confidence for Lee either time, yet Tylin, a PROVEN state champion and upset specialist, somehow isn’t in the same ballpark as Hockaday? Now, if the match already happened or if the eventual result significantly favors Hockaday, that’s one thing, but to act like he has no shot before the match even happens despite his credibility is crazy.

I will say I have only watched Thrine wrestle at State and he looked amazing and like wrestling just makes sense to him. I am not sure how much off-season work or youth experience he has. But… I hate to tell some people that once in a while there are wrestlers that just get it and he looks to be that type of wrestler. I wouldn’t bet against him no matter who he wrestles. Especially in the big moments.

I don't have a bad word to say about the kid, and he's 100% legit and dangerous to anyone across the mat from him.  He's an outstanding wrestler and has a motor unlike most I've ever seen.  He's proven that he can run with/beat anyone, I'm not putting him down when I pick Hock over him, it's just a prediction on a wrestling website.

This is not gonna happen either.

Hmm we cant predict upsets of state qualifiers over non state qualifiers. I guess it would be flipped if a ticket rounder beat the semi state runner up last year right. Dont ruin our fun Joe.... godogs

Yea he has to hope Shep keeps growing or he runs in to that phenomenon and he will take a loss like his teammate
