Some interesting stats going into state

Recommended Posts

Who is Noah Warrens 1 loss to?

Side note: Alex Warren posted that Warren "ended" his season last Saturday.

I assume this is another Warren, Christian?

You can expect that anything can & will happen .

I'd be willing to bet a considerable sum of money that, assuming they meet, Parris scores at least one take down against Larson.

There are 18 undefeated wrestlers left!

This has been changed. My spreadsheet counted 19 but I forgot the title cell at the top.

I know (Sophomore & Junior & Senior) from #TheCounty that hasn't been takendown yet this year. Their combined matches total is (119) matches . Very impressive to me .

Does this count as a interesting stat going into State ?

Any opinions on wrestlers that could end their season without being taken down? Are there others that have yet to be taken down?

Only points Joe Lee has allowed are when he lets his opponent up.

but I think he has Crushed the School Record for Takedowns in the season .

Well, both of those figures are sort of misleading.   If you take the guy down 13 times and cut him loose 13 times you are padding your takedown numbers while appearing to give away the farm on escapes.  In reality, it is just a technical superiority that, quite frankly, is pretty amazing to watch.
