Wade McClurg
The airdyne bike and plate workout was always tough, especially when you're competing one on one with Coach Greg Schaefer... the man is a machine and a heck of a wrestling coach! tskin
My most hated would of been wrestling my coaches. I would get smothered underneath their robust size and pummeled then close to suffacation they would cut me only to start the process all over again hahaha

only davit
Progressive Sprints to 10. Sprint to that end and do 1 push up. Sprint back and do 2, all the way to 10. One set wasn't so bad, but at Manchester with Tom Jarmon there were always at least 4 sets. Push ups, Sit ups, Back Arches, and Pull Ups.
goul149
I enjoyed all conditioning, haha. Actually hated it all but enjoyed walking on the mat and knowing that I was in better condition than my opponent. My least favorite thing was stairs. BizzyCoach
Most definitely the 45/15 second interval sprints we did on the resistance running machine in college (Sorry, I can't find a picture). This thing had to be from around 1970, but you held yourself up on two bars in a plank position and your feet went on two paddles and strapped in. Then, you sprinted and coach would crank up and down the resistance spring the entire time (Basically a resistance mountain climber). The record was 14 sets. I never got to 10. Puked every time, but really learned what it was to push through pain.
navychiefmatt09
Wall Sprints- 2 min of sprinting wall to wall, 30 sec of push ups, 2 more minutes of sprints, 30 sec of pull ups, 2 more minutes of sprints, 30 sec of squat jumps, then overtime. close second would be grind matches. Never did them in high school when the room was warm. But All Navy coach Rob Hermann had us doing them in that wide open gym in Pensacola. February in Florida is freakin cold. You never quite warm up. The mat feels like an ice cube. You scramble like a mad man trying to avoid letting skin touch the mat for any length of time.
