Crazy to think about how much better avon could have been this year. We could have seen a 106 case bell plus Braylon Reynolds, Lucas boe, and Caden brewer in the lineup. (I get other places were better fits for them) this Avon team is already doing great things and still could of been that much better

Love seeing Avon doing well. Super thankful for my job at The Burg. I have coached most of the kids on both teams at one time or another. I look to hopefully seeing a top five match up this week. #TheCounty!!!!

Bburg has a pretty deep 285 room. I saw It was forrester and Fugate there

Throw in Jackson Sargent. All three could be top 20 heavyweights. It’s crazy.

Also remember this name in a couple years… Jamon Cole. He wrestled at Yorktown yesterday. Raw freshman.

The HWT coach at the Burg (Lynn) is truly one of the best around. Probably doesn’t get enough credit.

Unseeded Schaefer and Johnson end up falling in the blood round.

#10 Gunner Henry takes out the Ohio kid that clobbered him 15-1 early in the tournament. Gunner earns our lone podium spot, finishing 8th.

Gunnar had backs that were not awarded also. What a difference a day makes. Brownsburg coaches and coach Red came up with great match strategies and Gunner came up big!!! Super tough and coachable kid. Well deserved 32 placement for the future Wyoming Cowboy.

I totally agree with ya on that guy!!!  I think the new weights may hurt Center Grove!

    175- Clouser or Weems

    190- Clouser,Weems or McConnell

    215- Johnson or McConnell

    Hwt- Schott or Johnson

I hope that is a mistake with Reynolds, he is AVON.  I see Hockaday or L.

Haines filling the 126 & 132 spots!!  BBurg could see some wrestle off early

in the Season!!  Day @150 or 157.

Going to be interesting. Still weight to cut before the Season!!!!

Thanks and good luck on upcoming Season, Bigtoe19

Braylon was home schooled and now goes to Brownsburg.

Mendez match was interesting, two shot clock points and 5 step outs. Mendez was the closest to getting a true score. The Iranian's underhooks and collar ties stymied Jesse most of the match.

Did anyone go back to see if Jesse stepped out first on the last two step outs? Last one was def worth a brick. I would go back to watch but back to work now. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.

And maybe a simple “not the direction we are going” would suffice.  My dad takes a lot of pride in his grandson and is his biggest fan.  Sorry for the inconvenience, I (Misty) paid and signed up for this but my dad keeps up on the posts.  The pancake short order cook comment has totally creeped me out!

Your dad is awesome!!! One of the best wrestling fans out there. Always enjoy our conversations. Definitely wrestling grandpa HOF.

    Let’s go grandpa HOF

Gavinn Alstotts grandpa on that list too!

  7. How bout the kid from Iowa that missed weight and Morgan caught them too. Yes.. it happened twice. That was 5 rounds in. The kid wrestled every match before. When they got caught the all apologized and stated “we thought they weren’t counting the tenths!”

But… it gets better…. The kid proceeded to wrestle every round after at the weight that he missed!!!

Ive been going to the event for 10 years. This year was in fact not up to par. I don’t care to go back.

did they withdraw voluntarily?  or were they told kicked out?

is les miles consulting for the pa team?

They decided as a team to leave. Really it was one loud mouth mom leading the charge. The other just went along with her for some reason. It was a shame. I did get to see the weighin sheets and they all were signed.

and nooo Les Miles… 😂 but… that lady may have been related to him!!! I think her name was Karen Miles.

Did anyone catch the conversation between the refs after Nauman Blue finally forfeited the rest of the match? The younger ref was talking how there was a 5 pound allowance and he could be 137. He said "You're talking about 0.2. He could have wrestled at 137. He's 137.2, so you're worried about .2 pounds". I guess we should just change weight classes to a suggestion and if you think you're close, you're good to go.

Refs were clowns… the old dude walked over to the head table to check the weighins sheets at first. Came back and said…”he’s good let’s go!” Unfortunately he went and checked the Brownsburg roster. He had no clue what team to go check. It was truly a crap show!!!!

So it sounds like Morgan cost his kids a round of wrestling 🤣

    Now that’s funny!

The bad thing is he could have weighed in again. He had a 5 pound allowance and missed by .7. Again.. coaches didn’t want to get that last .7 off, they wanted to go booze.

The funniest was when they accused Morgan of changing the weights.

Again, the only kid that clearly had his weight written in his arm three days after weighins was that kid!!! #WashYaA$$
