I remember the Indianapolis Star doing these years ago, last I remember 2012, but I’m not sure if these are a thing anymore. It’s been awhile since I’ve followed wrestling and this was the first state tournament I’ve seen top to bottom in years. With that being said, here’s my crack at it.

A pretty solid squad I’d say, don’t ya think? 6 state champs, 6 runner-ups, a third, and a fourth place. I’d like to see this team against like a Team Indiana from every area. If anyone could put one together, please do.

In my personal opinion, this matchup is a toss up. I think a takedown wins the match. At this stage I'd say both get out from the bottom position leaving it to be settled in the neutral position. I think all could agree Mendez is more technically sound on his feet, however they are both incredibly smooth and Littell brings some horsepower to the party as well.

Ive ripped down caution tape multiple times. Every time it was a school from the region. I fight with someone from the region about seats once a year minimum. Anyone have similar experiences?

170- Senior that will be Red & White in a few years . Kid isn’t as strong as Pistol, he thinks he is. He not . School should be called the Cowboys . Wooooo.... Bang ! 
182- Senior that will be wearing Green & White in a few years . “With that said.... “ Pistol is faster than him on a quick draw .... Woooo..... Bang ! 
195- Junior that will be a Cornhusker in a few years . He’s from Muncie and that town produces Champions . 
220- Senior that will be wearing Red & White in a few years .  
285- kid has Voltage in his name maybe Watts is his name .

Cathedral should put four under the lights with Seltzer, Rodgers, Mosconi, and Slivka. Walendzak is a possibility but has to get by Hunt or Peele. EMD should have 3 under the lights in Lee, Dickens, and Boarman, and Roncalli should have at least 2 in Viduya, and Freije.

Can't forget Columbus East with Rooks, South, and Bolte. 

Just wondering where Caliboy has been? I really am looking forward to getting his insight on things this weekend.

Andre got caught on a turn he was trying to do and ya he was not up to par yet and got caught you could tell andre was not pinned and he fought out of it, And stuck him in the second and yes he will never catch Andre ,we are a young first year cadet hurford is second about 15 if he is not beating Andre now he never will we are getting better by the day right now he is lifting at the fitness center I work at and doing BOSU trainingg to worhkon inner core strength. so ya I stick by my words. Everyone already knows I am crazy it has been known for years but don't take the success my son has had a turn it into something about me it is about the kids.

I know people were giving Caliwrestler a hard time about talking about his son a couple weeks ago but give credit where credit is due. Great job at Freestyle state. Maybe Hurford should of put Richards on his list of top freshmen @ 189. lol

2 years ago sophomore 30-5 @170 Trizton Carson vs returning State runner Up B.Vanhorn... VanHorn was beat by Eventual state Champion Stock in the semis and Got 3rd at sectionals.. Carson lost to SQ Ciccerelli 7-5 in finals setting up the 2 vs 3 Brutal first round regional match...To top it off the Top 4 from that regional all advanced through To state (hayes,ciccerelli, state champion Stock and Vanhorn)with mooresville legendary regional adding another chapter to its dominant story..

Jason just loves the sport. A very loyal man, who has never forgot his roots. When needed, he always stood in the corner of my kids match to offer any support they my need. I know he means the world to them.  Good Luck this weekend Andrea.

its showing him that people dnt care if he wrestles or not it looks like they would rather not have him be apart of the sport and if he doesnt want to be apart of the sport he is not trying to get other people into the sport and that means that the sport just lost someone that might of talked other kids or even his own kids into wrestling one day
