Due to the circumstances of the pandemic the family decided to hold a memorial service at a later date so that the many people whose lives Mr Deak touched could pay their respects.

Coach Deak was an amazing coach, teacher and role model to so many Hammond kids as well as a great father to his own boys. He was very knowledgeable and extremely technical when instructing his wrestlers. He used terminology that we all could understand though. He was definitely ahead of his time. He was without a doubt the smartest coach I ever had in any sport.  Coach Deak led by example and I'll always be grateful for the character and discipline he instilled in me. He is the reason that the sport I once considered my second sport has given me so much and is my number one sport over 40 years later.  Thanks Coach

Multiple things go into streaming. Can’t say it was more knowledgeable people running it, as the same 4 people that ran the SSs were at BLF. You could say better equipment, but it was the New Castle streaming kits that ran the finals. 
 
All-in-all it was probably a combination of all 4 of us in attendance that 1 of us could worry about different TW duties instead of dealing with all of the issues. 
 
ECC SS I was running around with my head cut off trying to put out the fires with streaming. Mat 3 had an older computer on it, which is what was causing the issues. I then tried to switch Mat 3 to Mat 4 as Mat 3 was running a virtual scoreboard that was causing strain on the internal processor. That was the problem with 3 & 4. Then during the finals, I was watching the finals stream and dealing with a camera guy that wasn’t following the action that I didn’t notice the 3rd place stream. I apologize for it, was just trying to get AS MANY matches as I could done right. 
 
Jasper SS I heard of no real problems. Mark Durham does a great job!!! He is also the TW Supervisor for the State Finals.
 
New Castle the steam keys got screwed up on the machines so they were streaming backwards. However, as soon as it was found out, Jon worked to take care of the issue. 
 
Fort Wayne the stream keys were not setup on the TW servers so the first hour wasn’t streamed. It takes some time for the streams to be added to the server. 
 
Also for the finals, Mark Durham hit it out of the park with Mat 2. The video switcher was pretty awesome. Go ahead with any other critiques. SWINfan, your thoughts on the Dashboard was pushed to the developers at TW and FloSports.

Thanks to whoever reorganized the quad view to have semis at the top and consols at the bottom.  It definitely makes for a cleaner viewing experience. 

Not stupid.  Yes, if you have a bye and then a FF, then technically your next match was completed and you won, thus giving you the 2 advancement points.

The EC semi state ranker is being lazy and not gave them a update. Unacceptable 

I am not sure that the IHSAA would be as accommodating as the IHSWCA was regarding allowing IndianaMat to highlight certain matches (especially if we are at Bankers Life and they are losing all of the admission monies that they will be losing).  And I am sure that there were people that did not pay for the streams and just relied on IM to get all the good matches on their show.  (Not saying anything negative about IM, they did a great job.)
 
 
There are SOME plans to try to make the event better for the fans far away.  Mark Durham tries to continue to up the level of streaming that is produced, especially for the IHSAA Finals.  He has been pushing actually getting the Track streams up to the video boards the last couple years and has a couple things up his sleeve this year that he is hoping that the IHSAA approves.
 
It is not possible at this time to stream all 4 mats at once on TW.  If it was, it would already be in place.
 
Incorporating the IM rankings is also something that Mark has had conversations with the IHSAA about.  Unfortunately, we will have to just listen to the commentators (as I am not sure that the IHSAA brass has ever listened to the actual streams to know that the commentators are saying IndianaMat's rankings) as the IHSAA has denied allowing it because of their own reasons.  Adding the IM rankings was something that I was going to try to put in for next years IHSWCA Team State Tournament.  
 
Any other video streaming suggestions would be greatly appreciated, so keep 'em coming.

1. Yes, at minimum Semi States will be streamed.
2. Movement, yes. Not sure it is something that I see happening this year unfortunately. There are only about 6 people around the state that have experience streaming events. I am guessing a couple sites will be streamed this year, but can’t tell you how many. It is also somewhat of an expensive feat and TW only has so many streaming kits available to rent. 
3. Because the dashboard is hosted by TW servers and the video is through AWS servers, there is no way to synchronize them together, though in no way is that a bad suggestion. 

This may be something that is being worked on...but cannot confirm.  The biggest problem is purchasing a video splitter as they aren't exactly cheap.  We will see what we are able to do!

What is your upload speed?  Typically TW looks for 4mbps upload speed per mat (so if you have 4 mats, 16mbps).  Just if you want some additional numbers to help get it up and running.

Scoring used to be a viewer tab. When they went to Hub, they took it away. I never even noticed it (as I’m usually the one running the tournament).

I do have an inside “Track” on who is running the tournament. And the rumor is all points are to be added this year from each round. And that is how the scoring is showing when looking as a viewer!

If you have Gold+ you get them "for free."
 
Gold+ also gets you events like IHPO and the World Championships(all age levels). I'm a power user so Gold+ is great for me.

Try again!  It should be added for Indy Nationals.
