Ft. Wayne Semi State Predictions

Recommended Posts

These are my predictions in this particular order, would love to hear other people's predictions too! (I do think that there are some 3's that will be better than the runner ups, but place 3rd due to how the bracket is set up.)

106: Bollinger, Ocampo, Horn, Moore

113: May, McIntyre, Waldon, Straw (McIntyre's only loss is a 12-0 MD to Jalen May in the regional finals, I think he can beat Levi.)

120: Mosier, Tishner, Carter, Owens

126: Schlabach, Brady, Bradley, Rowles

132: Doster, Lisner, Reiley, Kallimani

138: Wood, Uhlman, Baldwin, Hagewood (Uhlman is a wild card, him and Cooper Baldwin will have a close match in the semis, no doubt about it.)

145: Clark, Miller, Tuesch, Price

152: Betz, Davis, Todd, Wittcamp (Gard and Davis will be tight, but I think Davis takes it.)

160: Farnell, Beck, Pleak, Warnock (Clean sweap from the Peru Regional, but Will Warnock, Deaglan Pleak, and Brant Beck are all capable of making it out, especially with how the brackets are built. Chase Leech is solid, he and Brant Beck will have a competitive match, and I also believe Pleak and Watts will be close as well.)

170: Myers, East, Reed, Russell

182: Veazy, Page, Lone, Ringeison

195: Deming, Daring, Koltookian, Washburn

220: Beck, Henke, Hinton, Martin

285: Waters, Wright, Jellison, Maley

I see horn more than most people I believe the kid can and will do great things . I believe he will make a deep run at state, but I also believe that's a tough match for both parties and it could go either way.  I won't be shocked if he wins I also wont be shocked to see a 4-3 match either.

He is very looooonnggg  for a 106 and could cause a lot of problems for some match ups!!

High powered offense versus high powered defense. Definitely the makings of a great match!

I have been telling everyone that is not from Fort Wayne that our semi state is going to be fun to watch this year!!

So you only pick 3 kids from The SAC? But you have 2 going from Garrett?  So your guys win thier ticket round matches and ours don't? Lapsley was a Regional Champ.  Hasn't lost since The AlMickey Daring was a Regional Champ.  Snider out scores Garrett tomorrow.

Shout out to Wurm from AC! 2nd year wrestling after his freshman year was spent on the hardwood. Not only qualifying for state but finishing 2nd today was impressive.  Always say AC has some decent wrestlers on the hardwood as most have a hard time choosing between the two after middle school.
