jsabik
It's final I have talked to a coach from that sectional. Wright is #2 and Keiffer is #3.
decbell1
I guess not, I thought so too. You have two kids wrestle in the 1st round and 1 of them loses and they are out. Then you have a FF wrestling a bye and the FF advances to the next round. That means the FF is going to be ahead an actuall wrestler. O ok. Yes, a forfeit can go further than a kid that loses in the rattails. That makes sense. But I think that is the only situation. I still think that there should never be a rattail match in a weight class where there are forfeits. It's just not fair to anyone.
NavyGonzo
It's final I have talked to a coach from that sectional. Wright is #2 and Keiffer is #3. That is crazy... That means they will meet in the regional semi finals as well, unless one of them just inj. defaults to take 4th place.
rebels8
looks like the champion will be crowned in the semifinals since they are 2 and

TCWrestling
Unless God himself his wrestling, I can't imagine who would be ahead of these two kids! Jake Williams from Shelbyville was the number one seed over Wright and Kieffer. No head to head or common opponents, and Williams was the runner up in the same weight class last year. MattM
at shelbyville sectional there are several weight classes that are going to have FF place ahead of an actual kid I thought it was written into the Sectional rules something to the effect of : 1.Seed 6 wrestlers. 2.Place 2 unseeded wrsetlers. 3. Draw additional wrestlers. 4.Draw FFs 5. Draw Byes. Thus a FF can be equal to an actual wrestler but would not be able to advance farthern than an actual wrestlers. decbell1
Is this Forfeit guy possibly from Marion? Because then it would make sense. I saw that he was ranked #1 in our Semi-State earlier this year.
PreparetoWin
That program you guys have is the best innovation to a seeding meeting I have ever seen. You guys should sell some kind of service to input all seeding meetings, it would make everyones life so much easier!!! Thanks guys

chambers
I guess not, I thought so too. You have two kids wrestle in the 1st round and 1 of them loses and they are out. Then you have a FF wrestling a bye and the FF advances to the next round. That means the FF is going to be ahead an actuall wrestler. We had this come up at the Southridge sectional four or five years ago. A wrestler from Forest Park was going to have to wrestle in the 1st round while a FF was in the bracket with a bye. The FF would advance while the Forest Park kid or the kid Forest Park wrestled against would be out of the tournament. The Forest Park coach or AD called the IHSAA and got a ruling that we could not do it that way. We had to change the bracket so that a FF would not advance while a wrestler was eliminated. I know that the Southridge and Castle sectionals both do not allow a FF to advance with a bye when there is a match between two wrestlers.
TCWrestling
I thought that Shelbyville and Roncalli had wrestled this year. Did Willams and Kieffer wrestle? Those teams did wrestle but Williams didnt wrestle kieffer. I know Williams was out injured for a little bit, but not sure how long.
