No One Famous reacted to TripleB in Evansville Semi-State rankings.
Evansville Rankings will be out by Friday.

Per normal I'll list some kids in multiple weights, I'll list teammates in the same weight (wait Conway and May aren't teammates anymore? Shoot!), and I'll sprinkle in some 5th year seniors. Oh and by Friday I mean I hope to have them out Wednesday.

Good luck this year! The Dirty Dirty South will be rolling and collecting medals. If you live in the Fort Wayne area, skip the trip to Indy. If you live in the East Chicago Area, don't listen to the region hype all year it'll hurt even more when you get sent home Friday night by some hilljack from the boondocks, and if you go through New Castle.... I'm sorry....

No one has scored a single point on Carroll in his high school wrestling career. Let that sink in.

It's not the end of the discussion.  Christian Carroll could absolutely beat Mason Parris.  Parris may have more state titles, but Carroll has won many tournaments that Parris did not.  He is also ranked #1 in the country prior to his jr year, which is something that Parris can't claim.  I think it is likely that Carroll wins 220 last season if he had been eligible.  As an athlete, Parris may have the edge.  At this same point of their careers (both entering Jr year in HS), I think it is likely that Carroll is the better wrestler.

I was just talking to Coach Brown about Coach Tanniehill.  When I first started wrestling freestyle and greco in 3rd grade my dad didn't know anything about the styles.  He saw Coach Tanniehill coaching a group of kids and asked if I could join in on what he was teaching.  For the next few years, Coach Tanniehill would stop by my matches and give my pointers.  Years later, we attended the silver college together.  His words to Steve Frazier the first day of the clinic move me to this day.  Coach Tanniehill is a great man who has given himself to others his entire life.

    Congrats Coach

Thank you all for the kind words! Ben Davis is going in a different direction, but that doesn't change what those boys are doing. That program is on the RISE and those boys are hungry. I cant wait to watch their continued success on and off the mats.

I believe BD will make the best decision regardless. If it's Quinn, rumble young man rumble. But if it's someone else, best of luck to them also. Whoever is chosen, best of luck at what looks like a great opportunity for something special.

Per the barcode scanning on his credential he showed up at 7:21am, checked weight at 7:24am and eventually made weight at 8:14am.

Even if he thought weigh-ins were later, he should have realized when he showed up that it was the official weigh-ins going on. It isn't hard to figure that out with guys eating and such. That is when he should have had an "oh crap" moment and busted his butt to get on weight.
