Damien Chambers of Edgewood won state in 2014 in one of the most exciting (very biased I understand) finals matches I have watched beating Blake Rypel in OT... on the 3rd caution

Matt Wills, HWT champ in '91, was a monster.  Hit a lateral and a cradle on the '92 Champ Frank Hammond in about a minute in the finals.

Due to this being Black History Month and State Finals week, I think it is only fitting to celebrate both. Please list or talk chat about any past Black state champs or wrestlers from you school or program. Indiana has had numerous dominate Black wrestlers that got their hands raised last at the end of the season.

First time I heard it was at a AAU tourney at Delta High School . They were playing it loud during warmups . I love it to this day Lol . 

Nothing but respect to Hinton.. Jack aka Jamarion is just a gamer that learns quick and doesn't quit.. Jack also lost at regionals and came back to almost win SS.. We aren't sleeping on anybody and trust me we aren't going away from what got him here.. Jack doesn't fear a soul and welcomes the challenge.. I've seen your guy wrestle few times and he's impressive.. Jack has 8 months total in a Wrestling room and is getting better everyday..I have No warnings for you and your guy like you do for me,  just have fun and let's see who gets on that podium! Jack is one of the best naturals I've seen picking up this sport and the fact he rode Guhl the entire 3rd to win speaks to that..
 

gonna be a tough match for sure for my Guy, but beating Arvin, Guhl and Jordan and losing by 1 at the end if the finals proves he is Battle tested and tough as nails! Hinton is ATHLETIC, strong and quick but so is Jack and he had serious horsepower including a 600 pound squat and heart for days..def going to be a great match.

My son used Shout at the Devil by Motley Crue this weekend. Brought a tear to my eye. 

Gives me goosebumps thinking about it.. Heard it every year I went (in the audience)

Khaoucha makes short work of people, but he is going to have to swim in deep water to win it all, I think.

I heard someone say that at NC. I’m not sure. I walked by him up there, and the kid has got to be 6’5” 6’6” ish, 250 lbs or so, all muscle. He just doesn’t look like a normal heavyweight. 

He's been on a mission! He was 220 vs my guy last season and was huge then I seen him in football and about fainted.. Imagine him running the 🏈 at you!

With thieves all logic is out the window! The fact that they went out of their way to rig pass codes, right there tells us that they didn't "accidently" get the wrong ones.. this crap right here will shine a light on the few of the bad apples that in other ways might be a cancer to the sport in man other manners!
 
I have no actual children in the sport  and coach and train kids out of love that I have for the sport that saved my life in many ways, so I never expect money or anything in the regards to Monetary value all I want is their best version of themselves, that our training can Create...
 
So I know how hard these kids work to get this far and the dedication it takes to become a wrestler, so when we have some fn Thieving Scrubs trying to take away from these kids and their family, I get more than upset.. If the kids aren't first in every aspect of the sport, then your heart isn't in the right place to begin with and need not to exude their slimey ways upon our sport! If they would stoop that low, imagine what else scumbag crap they do when nobody's looking! This sport is tough enough in every regard, and to advance to the state finals as it is, you don't need these busters out here thieving, thinking they're slick and can blatantly rob these kids! I could go on all day about this trash 🗑️ and how much I despise it.

The team Dual regionals were badass! Sucked making Weight during week but we always had great duals with pendleton and others.. The last semi state title we captured was in that format vs Yorktown the year we placed "5th".

Macke was elite with state title talent.. Jaggers faced Angel in the finals in 03' and macke unfortunately to him was on Angel side of the bracket.. That match with Jason level was a banger too! Watched Jaggers blast DOUBLE and pin him after a war at semi state!

Kiefers and my boy Mullins use to throw down.. Alex Cartron was a returning state placer and had a death draws vs Kieffer about senior season!

Stud! If it's wasn't for O'brien could've been 3xer.. 8-5 loss in the semis

They'll have that topic after Saturday I'm sure... other studs that miss out because of draws and other thing's should get some recognition sometimes
