I am working them for sure. The IHPO does a great job for setting the groundwork, I usually start to put the final touches together around super 32. Then Y2 release the first copy in the preseason Mag with a ton on photos and articles. But I am ready for the season

Iowa Wesleyan is an upstart D3 program that will begin competing in 2020-21 academic school year.  Not only will they be launching the men’s wrestling program, but will be the first D3 in Iowa to offer women’s wrestling as well.  Coach Powell is actively seeking recruits and is very interested in Indiana’s deep talent pool.  Listed below is his contact information.  This is not only a great added resource/contact for the many coaches with wrestlers who fit the D3 mold......but also an excellent opportunity to continue helping grow the sport.  Feel free to contact Coach Powell with any questions, or to share the contact info of young men & women in Indiana who are deserving of his recruiting interest.

Flo's Tier 1 has only Demas and Lee.
Tier 2 (no order), Kaden Gfeller, Mitch McKee, Kyle Schoop, Chad Red, Tarique Wilson, Kanen Storr.
Tier 3 Grant Leeth (6th year junior? dropping down in weight?), Real Woods (only true "new" talent in weight), Yahya Thomas, Tristan Moran, Max Murin, Sam Turner, Michael Carr.
The debate centered around:
 Hard to see much difference between tier 2 and tier 3 in many cases. Red and Gfeller perhaps should be tier 1, but Red's regular season and Gfeller's NCAA held them back. Storr was borderline 2, perhaps should be 3. More emphasis placed on post season than regular season results. If DeSanto goes up in weight he would be Tier 1.

Not taking anything away from south, but Drew wouldn’t go into OT with him. I might make some people mad here, but Drew gets on top...it’s over

Not trying to ask a dumb question...Do all students pay $55k/year, or are there "scholarships," or 'boosters" to help?  I'm a school teacher, so the thought of sending my kid to school for $55k/year is not an option.  Can loans be taken out and pay on the loans like people do for college?

Pin should’ve been called earlier in the match though, the ref called it late when it was questionable. Still a good defensive pin.

Trackwrestling tweeted a clip of the pin out, recognizing Logan, and they didn’t question it either. 

The kid was flat two or three times. Just watch the moms sitting against the wall. They were calling for the pin!!! Not sure who they are (😜🤥) but they are watching from the other side and clearly saw the pin.

I mean Laplace has had over a year now to adjust to the weight and fill into a healthy build. You also can't forget how difficult he can be to score on and remaining athletic while going up in weight over the last year. Laplace and Walker are both solidddd.
 

100% agree how hard he is to score on and how athletic he is. Manville is just a different type of wrestler. Multiple time Fargo champ and has had international experience.  Going to be interesting for sure.

Here’s a question...  What’s more difficult to win, State or IHPO?

Would love to see Laplace beat manville!
