i get that. I know a guy you may know named Joe Stewart who had or has one of the best head locks I've ever seen. Often times in high school and in college he hit that headlock and pinned his opponent he was losing at the time. He still got the win. I was trying to point out what Coach Booker taught me in1986. No excuses. If I'm up 13 and get pinned I obviously have flaws I need to work on. Just my 2 cents no malice here.

Not off top of my head but I think there is a big summer dual in Atlanta and maybe New Orleans, you could probably google and find it. Also closer to home there is the Indiana Midwest classic at Maconaquah High School.

Did you watch the Egli Elliot match? The announcer and the setting definitely won Elliot that match. Egli with a clear take down (stalemate). When he stacked Elliot over his head, may have been a 5 count definitely worth 2. Egli should have won by at least 3. Won't happen at state. Elliot has a shot but in my opinion its a long shot.

Drew Hughes Is very deserving of the recognition he is receiving kudos to the Indianamat staff for all you do. I've had the pleasure of meeting this young man and there is no arrogance in him. He spoke with me at length in several topics not only wrestling. I even asked the tough question like"why didn't you choose top in the finals against Wilson. He wasn't in sensed he just answered me candidly. He embodies what's good about Indiana wrestling. Good luck Drew I'm rooting for you.

I remember that since then Red has won a Fargo Championship and a Super 32 Championship...both are phenomenal but Red gets the nod in my opinion. Had the win been more substantial like a major there could be an argument but I believe it was an OT victory.

Great job Stone Neese and Travis Barroquillo for their wins at the Patriot Open today.  Great to see Chico Adams back on the mat with a third place win....Indiana was well represented today all over the country.
