The past few years several wrestlers have entered again as a repeat 8th grader after wrestling already as an 8th grader and the IHSWCA has not sent them home so I would assume if Preston wants to wrestle there is enough precedent set that he will be able to wrestle. 

I’m happy I haven’t seen it thus far, and I hope I don’t see this thread doesn’t break down into a Chad Red hate train. As Indiana wrestling fans, it’s always fun to see our own elite competitors face off, but sometimes people on this board or in the FloWrestling comments get a little carried away with their praise for Nick Lee that they bash CJ. I understand being passionate, especially the EMD crowd, but you have to remember that these are two phenomenal grapplers and Nick showed us tonight how much he’s improved in one year, hats off to him. Taking nothing away from him though, Chad Red is still Chad Red. He’s a big match guy and always gives us some big wins when it matters most. They’re both two-time All-Americans on the Division I level for a reason, and both are capable of winning the 141 lb class. Keep it classy and let’s continue to keep negativity away from these young men on either end.

Depending on Hammack's size at 106, I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a run. I think he is under the radar.

Mr. Miller I am glad to see your son tearing it up.  Given the schedule Brownsburg has lined up, he will get to test himself every week.
 
As far as engaging in a discussion with Mr. Heavy, I think I will take a pass.  He asked a question, on an open forum, and I answered it. I could care less if he appreciated my answer, just like I am sure he could care less about my answer.  Que sera sera.

@Sig40 has already posted this somewhere else but in his expert opinion CP is a great tournament team but lacks the full line-up to also be a great dual team at this moment.   they were great hosts yesterday and the competition and environment were great.
with that said CP will be even better over the next several years and they have certainly done lots of great things up there from coaching staff to deep multi academy training (Bulldog premier & RWA).  kudos to both teams going forward and thanks for being great hosts my region brothers !!!

Agree, Crown Point looks good and they certainly out wrestled Brownsburg at 126 and 160.  Junior looked great and totally controlled Montgomery.  Would like to have seen how things would've turned out with both teams being complete, Crown Point at 138 and Brownsburg's absence at 170.  Was really looking forward to that potential 138 finals match, but disappointed when brackets came out yesterday.  That 106 match was awesome, and that 120 match was pretty good too with Diaz.  Was surprised to see how competitive 145 finals was and that 8th seed 182 champ coming through and winning was rewarding, as was that 220 lb freshman champ that I thought I read where his defeat was being anticipated by CP fans during the week.  Overall, congrats to a hard fought win on CPs team tonight, was a back and forth battle that definitely played out differently than both sides expected at many of the wt classes; it kept the fans energized, and the format of the finals under the spotlight in this energized environment made for a great experience for all.

If you would quit trashing everyone on here and actually pay attention you would know Brody has been putting in the work for years and is now and always has been a contender for being in the mix as he is a stud.  Great kid and great family.  I have all the respect in the world for the things they are doing down there at EMD/ MCWC.
----may need to quit worrying about trashing @Mattyb and his kid and start reading up on the sport....  just a thought is all

He’s a superfrosh, not knocking anybody but also got higher points bc his dad volunteered in the Madison Wrestling Beer tents and introduced me to Peanut Butter Cup Beer!!
