I will give some thought to this Topic. Yes Mooresville Regional is a Meatgrinder. It has always been. A Weight that Pops out at me is the 195 at Evansville North. Look at the rankings you basically have the States top 3 Wrestlers with Purdy-
Castle, Sollars-EMD & Willman-NoPo. Then there will be a wrestler that will make some noise for themselves and their School.
Now the other weight class that I see a true fight just to make Semi State and draw into a Top Ranked kid is going to be 126 at Bloomington Regional. This is an area closer to my home base. My real question is Lane Gilbert of Sullivan??  
Why you ask, cause he wants to stay at 120! Was recently injuried and came back to wrestle in Greencastle at 126 that weekend. So what fits him and Sullivan the
BEST?  The Regional already has 5/6 wrestlers that have been in the Rankings this year by Joe in the 126 State Class.
Wrestlers like H May-THS, B Lain-Tell City, B Weaver-Owen Vlly, P King-New Alb, A Gann-Bl. South, Shackelford-Fl Cnt and other tough wrestler out of the Bl.North and Southridge Sectionlas.

I don’t know, it’s like Burg, CP, EMD, CG all could win it . So eager to watch this unfold early February. Don’t know who to pick ? They look great, they look great, they’re real deep, no results on them, no they look great  ? what if ? 2nd guessing myself ? upset here, there. Coin flips best 2 of 3, nope, didn’t work . Prolong Injury that’s football related, The Champ just sign NLI to play D1 football in the MAC I seen on Twitter . Good for him 👏🏽. Doubtful his weight has anything to do with it . Kid has football skill and his first sports love is going to payoff in the future with a College degree . Well Done ! 
 
Hopefully your not wishing any “unforeseen incidents” on HS kids . Sounds really desperate @PhillyFanMD . Gotta remember they’re just HS kids having fun . Just my thinking.

Only just “rival” the MIC in football?  I think that’s an understatement. Besides Center Grove, HCC has been owning the MIC in football as of late.  Times change and that trend could change too so not claiming anything is set in stone. But the Westfields, HSEs, and Brownsburgs of football have been roughing up Pike, LC, NC, Ben Davis, etc for years now. Westfield barely lost to CG in the title game and Westfield needed the last play of the game to beat HSE in football sectionals this year. The HCC will be a handful now if this goes through and that’s just football. Baseball?  Forget about it!  Lots of other sports too. I’m not saying this conference alignment is a good thing or a bad one. I’m just saying let’s not act like the HCC was terrible and all of a sudden a player because Carmel and CG are going there. Obviously lots of wrestling power spread out throughout the state elsewhere but this sure makes for an interesting HCC Conference Tourney too if Carmel and CG are involved. 

when it comes to breaking news in #TheCounty . I am what you call “Notorious”. I know you wanna get your plug in for YOUR … Lafayette schools . I get that . Might wanna watch you finger typing tone when you typing “you left off Garcia” . My spidey sense picks up you type this furious anger . I get your upset . Deep breaths and count backwards from 10-9-8….. 😂

Carmel and Center Grove align more with the schools in the HCC than they do with the MIC. There are many factors, least of which is racial, foremost is the relative income levels of the parents of the schools involved. They will create a conference that rivals MIC in terms of football, and most likely exceed them in other sports. Carmel will be the driving force in that, Center Grove being second, and nobody in the HCC will ever again win a girls swimming conference championship besides Carmel, but that is not changed from when they were in the MIC.
 

Brownsburg Satbir Singh went from 145 last year as a Jr. to 182 Senior this year and he looks like he isn’t done yet growing . 

Glad he found someplace to reset things   And extra excited it’s still a Big10 school.  Hope we will see him make an impact on the nations scene by next season. 

CP was 3-5 and BB was 2-4 vs SPG

As someone with no dog in the fight (pun intended) I am really proud to say I am from Indiana when talking about high school wrestling. 2-3 years ago when I was watching big 10’s at Michigan State some rutgers fans were at the bar back at the hotel. When i started naming all the big name wrestlers that went to high school in Indiana they were like damn so its legit in Indiana huh. I think we are only getting better I love it!
