Semi-State Draws

We don’t go that way so we don’t care now.  But I’ll take a shot at it… a 1 will wrestle a 4 and a 2 will wrestle a 3.

Then everything you are saying is a flat out lie. If you say you can predict the draws then put them out here for everyone to see how right you are.

I've have been 99% over the last several years at least at New Castle Semi State.  Look at previous years weight class and that will be your draw.  So if you are 215 this year look at 195 last year.  So 195 bracket from 2023 will be 2024 (in respect to regional A #1 to regional B #4 etc.).  I hope this helps. It is time consuming to figure it out.

So are you saying is the same every year or each formula moves up one weight every year?

Look at last years. Probably the same. 106 is always anyway. Mooresville vs castle

I wonder if there's a difference this year with some of the new weights, or if they have the same formulas and just changed the weight numbers. Cause the Jay county 2 seed was consistently drawing Carroll for ticket round, which is why we knew once our guy got second at regional last year he was getting Veazy ticket round. So is that seeding the same for 175 this year, or is it actually going to be random?

Jay County 2's hit Peru 1's more often along with the vice versa or Jay County 1's hitting Peru 2's. That's why Jay County has had inflated state qualifier numbers for so many years.

My point wasn't that Jay County 2's get bad draws. My point was the draws are rarely random cause of the one example, and I was curious if the formula stays the same for 175 or if they change it up with new weights.

Like I said, the 182 draw has been the same 7 out of the past 8 years in Fort Wayne.

Multiple posts saying the same thing I said…including yourself, but I’m lying. 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Show me the draws, you're acting quite pretentious saying you can predict them and then not posting them. Look into your crystal ball and give us a few weights at least. I know hundreds of coaches that want to see them.

Each year, it moves up one weight.  So 215 this year will be 285 next year.

I went through the last 12 years of NCSS on Track for every weight class and this is not true. There are some more common draws for certain weight classes than others, but it isn’t as simple as having last year’s formula and moving it up one weight class the following year. Could that happen this year? Sure. But it’s not that simple, otherwise everyone would know the formula before the season even starts.

The last several years I did my son's and was 100%, and years ago I did my others son's.  I didn't do all weights but did the others from our school that qualified and were accurate.  I can only speak for the ones I did.  Sorry to comment!

Not sure its random but it changes in New Castle. Same weight got same place out of Perry Regional 2 years in a row, and drew North Mongomery regional one year & Richmond the next.

Looking at 2022 brackets and 2023 that's not the case for every weight class

Well look at that, Jay County 2 draws Carroll 1 at 175
