It’s generally not the 1-2 seeds that are the problem. What are the 3-8 placers seeds?

Operator error. If it could be rebuilt then it wasn’t a track issue. It was an operator issue. Track was running fine at multiple tournaments.

 

Now a few weeks ago track really went bonkers for like 3 hours.

One problem I see with the seeding is for instance the #3 seed for heavyweight was Carmel he didn’t show so their JV guy got the #3 seed. So if I was a coach and I knew my wrestler was not going to wrestle I would not let anyone know till last second so there other guy would get easier matches and a higher seed. I asked and they said they won’t redo seeds unless it’s the #1.

This is a dumb question I know.   How are you able to tell seeds by looking at the Track brackets?

Go to the tournament page and select the “Weights” field. Then select a weight. It will show all competitors and list a seed next to their name. Also I realize some tourneys stop seeding at a certain number (for example #8) which means 9+ can be random (also known as unseeded). But for sake of my listing I still listed what Mooresville listed all the way through 32.

Thank you.   I just always tried to figure it out by looking at the brackets but I knew that wasn’t right.

Another way to see seeds, depending on how the tournament is set up, is to click on information -> auto seeds, then select the weight class. It lists them in order and all the criteria relevant info.

Thanks. Way better than my suggestion. Guess I’ve only looked at that path you suggested for criteria pre-tourney and had no idea it would populate when brackets set. Awesome. Much appreciated.
