NC 94-96 teams.. 41-0,42-0,46-2

95 team was Runner up..The 96 team was ranked top 20 in the country.. Sent 8 to state with 6 Placers, lost to EMD in barn burner finishing runner up again.

..

That team didn't even have my late great Cousin  BUBBA Dickerson AKA reigning HW state Champ/Fargo AA and top 3 Ranked Ross Leduc, SO It very well could've been 10 to state with 8 placers.. That team only surrendered 10 pins against them the entire season as well.. NC had the state record 106 straight dual meet wins and is still the only teams in history to win 40+ dual meets in a season.. those teams were so tough, we had a move in who was a state qualifier, that couldn't even make varsity.. That team had legit tuff tuff dudes top to bottom and 5 guys that became pro fighters as well . ANYBODY that can remember the  Motls, Pickle, Rainey, Martin, Bubba, Kissicks, Kings, Mac Taylor, Cory cook, Jaysen Madden to name a few, will attest to how Savage those teams were.

They're 5th in 1A according to the IHSWCA Rankings listed on Another website

Any ranking from any other website are irrelevant. Especially the team side @decbell1 does the rankings, the vote in, and the seeding. His team opinions are the ones that matter.

And no one does it like the rankings crew @Y2CJ41 has built!

Renssalaer Central enrollment 498 = 2A and Rochester 497 = 1A ? Ouch!

Our enrollment at the last reclassification was actually around 529-530. I don’t think our team page reflects that change yet.

with the new classifications, we became one of the smallest schools in 3A for IHSAA team sports and one of the smallest in 2A for wrestling.

Thanks! That explains a lot.

Still surprised Rensselaer Central isn’t on this list!

It is weird that they are not on the list, since they had already accepted their automatic 2A bid as of December 7. They were 4th ranked in the original list from last March. So it appears Owen Valley and Wawasee are the vote-in teams?

I’d say that John Glenn has certainly done what it takes to earn one of those spots.

Absolutely. Those kids looked tough yesterday! Just the fact that they are willing to come wrestle the big boys should move them up a notch or two.

I have noticed former elite big programs pounding small schools of late. Great to see tough teams like John Glen. Hats off men. Respect.
