Could it have been a coincidence? Possibly. But Track has seed #s listed by every wrestler and the computer does most of it. At the very least he was unseeded, and the #s after 8 are just where they land in a blind draw. Edited December 27, 2019 by SWINfan

He puts himself in a winnable match against Zirklebach. 106 is very deep. Lowery, West, Knable, Zirk, Egli, and Hammock all have good chance at punching their ticket to state. FC118
Shout out to Roncalli's Michael Fletcher (195) who entered the tournament at 4-12. He defeated 5 seed Mt. Vernon's Blake Ritzert (was 15-1) and Trinity's Ryan Martin (was 10-3 and a KY State Qualifier). SWINfan and Chapdaddy
InjuredReserve
I believe the MD Classic standard is to seed top 6 and seed top 8 if needed. But it’s been a few years since I’ve been to the seeding meeting.

SWINfan
Not sure what the deal is with Fitts. He has a nasty streak for sure. He seems not to care what happens to elbows, shoulders or knees when he is trying to get them to go where he wants them to go. I can't say whether he is trying to hurt other wrestlers, but after seeing 2 DQs and a penalty point for an illegal move in another match, I can comfortably say he wrestles differently than others, especially when walking the line between potentially dangerous/illegal. He was penalized just moments before for the same move and being frustrated went back to it and ref stopped it. Basically trying to run a head lever but not taking the arm across. Not a big deal, but he was doing this while putting his head on the outside of elbow and pulling at the wrist. Ref stopped it as the medical came in to check on Memorial wrestlers shoulder. This was the same move he done against Friege when the point was awarded. Roncalli corner was going crazy trying to get different ref to stop it. He did the 1st time as a potentially dangerous. Roncalli coaches challenged then Fitts went right back to it and a Pt was awarded and once again, they had to check on Friege. March resumed and ended 1-0. Then more fireworks after match due to EMD must’ve said something to Friege as he went to shake opposing coaches hands.

SWINfan
@106 Blake Zirklebach and Bryce Lowery were the semifinal winners. Reed Egli and Coy Hammack both won by fall in the consis. Egli will face Memorial's Kyler West. Their battle in the dual was excellent with Egli getting a fall. Could go either way. @113 Cole Ross wins with a 5-4 dec over Lane Gilbert of Sullivan. Gilbert was the agressor and impressive. I didn't see it but the other semifinal must have been a helluva match. Union Co.'s Trayce Eckman dec Mathew Meyer of Louisville St. X 9-8 in a match that was close all the way. @120 Alec Freeman got the fall over Memorial's Keegan Williams. Williams is just a frosh and one to look out for. I think there will be a lot of good wrestling in front of him. In the other 120 semifinal, Ty Haskins of Portage got a take down and 3 back points in the final :40 seconds to win 8-5 over Mt. Vernon's Chris Newman.
