Wrestling4EVER
This is kinda laughable. Kind of like nick Lee won't pin or tech fall thru it all. I'd be surprised if Molloy makes it out of the first unless red is goin for the tech fall. Molloy is a good wrestler but red is in the league with nick Lee. NICfan
This predicting people will tech/pin everyone is ridiculous. Is it possible? Yeah, but doesn't mean that should be what we expect. I also don't know why wrestling4ever is bringing up lee.
Caleb Spires
Chad Red was supposed to tech fall or pin everyone at state last year, and had a 6-2(?) finals where he came preeeettty close to getting put on his back. Chad is one of the best wrestlers in Indiana, and there's hardly any chance Molloy wins, but Molloy is good and might keep it respectable. Wrestling4EVER
Lol. OK I apologize. I agree that we shouldn't expect red to tech fall thru it. I just figured this was a discussion and prediction board and I believe he will. It does make it boring tho. I really hope someone gives him a respectable match. He is ranked #1 in the nation. This does put him on another level. Not just in our Hoosier eyes but outside of our state. Nothing against Malloy he is one of the best in the state. Sgyorks
Molloy will keep it within 5!! Red is one if the best ever but tshirts had close matches everynow and then even the great have close matches and I think molloy can keep it close CollinsWrestler

bluemonster
I remember last year the South kept talking how Lahue was going to knock off Red, well.....that ended pretty quick Saturday morning w a fall. Malloy is no where near as good as Lahue.
Wrestling4EVER
Its not even close seriously. Again I hope someone makes it close but I'd literally bet anything I have that he dominates everyone and wins by the very least a major. But let's just let them do the talking. Its almost that time. navy80
Red's path will look like this Round 1: Johnson 31-3 (SQ and 6th) Red beat him last year 12-0. If Johnson is able to wrestle I look for a closer score Round 2: Probably Truver 29-10 (SQ) Should get a quick pin here to get his Saturday off to a good start Round 3: Molloy 43-0 (SQ) Probably the second best in this weight...Red should major Round 4: Torres 34-2 (7th) Red should major or pin. This is by far the best group of 4 wrestlers Red has faced at the state finals. All opponents have state experience two SQ and two placers. Last year Red faced Laughlin 34-10 Lahue 26-3 Knapp 38-3 Glogouski 44-3 Freshman year he faced Glogouski 35-7 Hilderbrandt 40-13 THE DJ SMITH 41-6 Pepple 43-

Adding that Pepple is has a very good chance at winning this year could make that TWO eventual state champs. How is that not as good or better than this year's 4 wrestlers? And Glogouski was a runner up!
