Will this be the final Drew "Hammer Half" Hughes Super Nelson we'll see or can it be stopped.....Kids, take note!!! Simply will win a State Title by a Takedown & Half you dont need flash, you need repetition on basics....Proof will be seen in every 2-1 3-2 match....or in Hughes case, every FALL!!!

I believe short fireman's is the term...My brother hit it in 98 all the way through the state tournament and was voted as 1 of the best and most unstoppable moves in the state that year. Set up right can be a very dangerous unstoppable move in my opinion.

Does it matter? Hate to say it but more and more kids are redshirting in 6/7th grade for "some reason" or another...Kudos to PARRIS for putting on a great show big future ahead of you, Keep up the work!!

Its definitely not about the pay BUT, as with anything its nice to be compensated for your time..The ultimate reward is yes seeing the kids grow knowing that us coaches made a difference in some of the lives that may have never happened and because of that i feel wrestling coaches build a more personal relationship with our athletes than ANY other sport..With that we tend to be more than a coach in the room we become role models outside and some of us father figures for those less fortunate...So to be compensated the same as others doing what we do is more than fair in my opinion as well as MOST of us have more athletes per coach than all other sports!!!

And thats why you should rank the top four in the semi-states 1-16 eventhough you kniw someone else may be better but, onky 4 can go...then you could get all 16 per weight correct...

Simmer down kiddos, here is a stat for you....i have 280 (in the school) NO FOOTBALL program to feed off of "0" kids that wrestle outside "THE SEASON" yet i got 1 kid to semi-state an 3 of my kids have wins over ticket rounders or qualifiers...but I CHOSE to coach here and build this program...to think we cant compete as you state with your team is ludicrous to even say about your team!! Heck we dont even have a swim team to grab a guy or two but we still step on the mat and think we can win our match with 4 guys or 14 guys..If you would like to cut your program and its feeders in half and try it out THEN ill let you complain or call your team The Worst team youve had....Until then, work harder, train harder, get better...

well you got my vote already...my 9yr old could have done a better job than that guy...you could tell he hated the job....so next yr just show up and ill spill something in his lap so he'll need to step away then wala, problem solved because the lady in pink will keep him behind the ropes after that!!
