  1. Indiana University wrestling is completely embarrassing. The athletic director must not care about wrestling or even competing. While a couple IU wrestlers are competitive, the team is horrible. Bottom of the Big10 and nobody seems to care.
  2. I don't fault either one. They are running their teams. Not entertaining a wrestling board.
  3. I love the analysis. And Newbie, not a bad question either for a westsider.
  4. Would you want your 132 to go down to 126 at team state just to knock off another wrestler? MD was there to win. Not entertain us.
  5. Crazy. I looked over and I thought he had lost. No, he had just given up his only points for the SEASON. Nuts.
  6. Actually, was it a hook and a half? lol The Cash/Lee call was a fall. Live with it. Yes, it was a touch pin. But Lee should never put himself in the position to allow the call. Cash hung in there and capitalized on Lees poor position. All credit to him. He is deservedly among the top in the nation. We are still in the first chapter of the Joe Lee's wrestling story. And the way he handled Cash/James, it should be a hell of a story. He is a college wrestler right now. And let's not forget James. My heart goes out to this young man. Flonational champ. Indiana wrestling tournament is unforgiving He has been an inspiration to all Indiana wrestlers. I predict his best days are ahead. So, in my book, they are all champs.
  7. 7-4 Lee at time of fall.
  8. Dont forget Ellis. He is a greco stud. Many forget that Nick Lee was the Pan Am champ in freesyle and GRECO. Lee can throw with the best of them.
  9. Every route to a state championship is tough.
  10. Different Joe Lee than even 1 month ago. He was good at SIAC, great at Regionals. Semi-state: OMG. But then again, at state they everyone is beatable.
  11. I think the point of the thread is that MD doesn't recruit. Ok. So what? We know.
  12. I could be wrong, but I think EMD could care less.
  13. These look very accurate. And yes, Bethel is capable of making it to the finals.
  14. Ford Center is a wonderful place to watch wrestling. If you have not been to Evansville SS, you are in for a treat.
  15. I think Wargel does have a chance. He has a chance against anyone. I think Ramsey takes the side of the bracket regardless.
  16. Just saw some film on line of the match. GS wrestler looked like he was boxing. Not wrestling. While it was "open handed", it was clearly overboard with palm facing down. The CourierPress called it correctly: "Jabs". Surprised the MD wrestler kept his composure. VERY surprised the MD coaches kept theirs. Prediction: Ramsey makes it to the finals.
  17. No reason IU shouldn't be competitive at every weight.
  18. If Ferguson wrestles, he will make 120/126 very interesting
  19. I think Micic is the only person to score on Lee in IHSAA. Still early for him. 3 years is a lot of time to make a mistake and get stuck. Let alone get scored on.
