jchas
Let's here your thoughts on Hamilton County. What matches are you excited to see. I know I am excited for Chastain vs Eldred.
119@88
Won't happen but I'm sure it would be a great match! David Bryant #6 of Hamilton Heights vs Klayton Anderson #2 at 106. Bryant is finally going down to 106 for rest of season! Anderson will wrestle 113. FASTMarine

FASTMarine
With the seeding meeting tonight and I see the tournament isn't on Trackwrestling. Is there a way to get info on the tournament?

backtothemat
Strueder v Bryant at 106 should be a good finals match assuming it works out that way. FASTMarine
FASTMarine
At 113. With the rumored injuries to Kiggans and Barrantes, I would guess Anderson Vs Hutson would be the odds on favorite to make the finals. But with such a solid field anything could happen!!! 119@88

arch.74
Mazero vs Fox first round should be interesting. I hate that they have to meet in the first though. FASTMarine

abc123
What happened to to the number 1 seed at 126 O'Neal from Hamilton Heights?
HamCoFan1
The situation at 126 with Trezdon O'Neal was crazy! There were some rumors in the stands today, but all I know is O'Neal was there, was ready to go, then was out.
Wade McClurg
The situation at 126 with Trezdon O'Neal was crazy! There were some rumors in the stands today, but all I know is O'Neal was there, was ready to go, then was out. 119@88
The FACT was he was at 126.0 then 126.1 and back to 126.0 the ref said hes good to go! Then one of the coaches from a bigger school thought oh no little Hammy Heights might beat us we can't have that and went and got him disqualified! Sad part was we forget these are just kids! Was getting this kid disqualified gonna help you win the whole thing? No it didn't! Should of been allowed to wrestle and he would have won and little Hammy Heights would have been top 2 or 3! Good news is were coming for the big guys and were young! Mostly sophomores and juniors!
RASSLER4LIFE
If he made weight the first time, why would he step on the scale a 2nd time? I don't understand how anyone could override the official's official weigh in!
edb41
If an official said he's good then he's good, I'm not sure all the facts are straight RASSLER4LIFE

119@88
The ref said he was good and signed off. 30 minutes later in the coaches meeting they said he was over. Then they wouldn't let our back up 126 in because they said weigh ins were over! Coach Meyers should have fought that! The ref should be in control not the home school coach! arch.74
I wasn't there, but none of that makes any sense. If he made weight first time on scale, there wouldn't be any need for him to step back on.
edb41
There is clearly some missing information and/or this is only half the story
119@88
He only got on scale once. It was going from 126.o to 126.1 and back to 126.0 the ref said hes good! He left and got dressed. 30 minutes later in coaches meeting they tell our coach "one" of the coaches disputed that and now hes over! Our coach said fine we have a back up 126 then they say weigh ins are over! Thats exactly how it happened!
edb41
Don't buy it, no official would change his determination, I'm guessing something was miss heard or understood initially
GrecoCoach
Here is what happened. (Leaving out names since it's not my place to call out anyone). Hamilton Heights arrived late after everyone else weighed in so only a few refs and coaches were still in the weigh in room, including me. The wrestler weighed 126.1 on the first scale. Went to the second scale and weighed 126.1 but the official announced that he made weight. However, a coach saw the weight and let the official know what he saw. In the coaches meeting, the official apologized for his wrong doing and explained what had happened. The tournament director did the only thing he could do at that point. Hamilton Height's alternate is the one who was wrongly affected because he didn't know he should have stepped on the scale at weigh-ins. The official rightfully took the blame. Nobody else did anything wrong. It was a great tournament with outstanding wrestlers and competition from all the schools. This one mistake should not overshadow the whole day of wrestling. Loki27
If it's the Officials fault wouldn't or shouldn't there be some exception to allow the back up to weigh in? Nope let me guess it's the rule and it's written in stone. FASTMarine
