SouthernIndianaVoice
I know its early, but the board has been a little dead to start the opening couple weeks of the season, so thought I'd try and stir up some discussion...my rankings on the Evansville Semi-State, mostly based off last years weights, and/or hear say or what I may think.... 106 Kaufer-Corydon Central Luigs-Mater Dei Willis-Evansville Central Poe-Decatur Central Dilbeck-Gibson Southern Mills-Brownsburg Miranda-Avon Rooks-Columbus East 113 Konrath-Mt.Vernon Skaggs-Avon Franklin-New Washington Cunningham-Floyd Central Reese-Franklin Matherly-Evansville North Lewis-Terre Haute South Cook-Northview 120 Hudkins-Danville Ferguson-Evansville Reitz Egli-Mater Dei Wilkerson-Franklin Pritchett-Ben Davis Walsh-Brown County McCoy-Northview Allen-Brownsburg 126 Schermer-Bloomington South Johnson-Mater Dei Molloy-Danville Young-Madison Boles-Mooresville Willis-Evansville Central Hayes-Charlestown Baehl-Gibson Southern 132 Lee-Mater Dei Lee-Brownsburg Anderson-Mooresville Harris-Avon Ramsey-Castle Bethel-Mt.Vernon Dempler-Madison Williams-Center Grove 138 Lee-Mater Dei Todrank-Gibson Southern Dull-Terre Haute North Weddle-Ben Davis Smith-Danville Tingle-Madison Paden-Corydon Central Ellis-Monrovia 145 Lahue-Corydon Central Herrin-Jennings County Jourdan-Mater Dei Schnell-Castle Castleberry-New Albany Williams-Evansville Memorial Mundy-Southridge 152 Damler-Brownsburg Lynch-New Albany Barlow-Bloomington South Smith-Evansville Central Kopp-Corydon Central Miller-Heritage Hills Abshier-Evansville Memorial Hendrich-Northview 160 Koontz-Edgewood Kemper-Evansville Central Forzley-Mater Dei Helm-Avon VanHorn-Franklin Barnett-Main-Bedford North Lawrence Caudle-Danville Dalton-Bloomington North 170 Lydy-Ben Davis Bassmier-Mater Dei McDaniel-Tecumseh Higdon-Charlestown Lockyear-Castle Young-Madison Harter-Southridge Kreilein-Jasper 182 Stevenson-Franklin Elmore-Avon Walton-Brownsburg Shaffer-South Putnam Hayes-Providence Dowell-Castle Huelsing-Evansville Memorial 195 Scott-Mooresville Orth-Mater Dei Redmond-Jennings County Greiwe-Columbus East Lee-Monrovia Cain-Greensburg Brown-Mitchell 220 Schoolcraft-Martinsville Larson-Avon Wilder-Ben Davis Kyles-Evansville Harrison Dobos-Bloomington South Klem-Gibson Southern Choate-Mt.Vernon Hurley-Charlestown 285 Oglesby-Ben Davis York-Franklin Biddle-Plainfield Sutton-Jennings County Mount-Scottsburg Hayes-Greensburg Miles-Paoli Dossett-Tecumseh
B. Alan
I talked to Bethel over the summer. He's big. I'm thinking 138, possibly even 145, but, we'll see.

SouthernIndianaVoice
Yeah that was my fault, he is still at Ben Davis to my knowledge. Sorry about that. If that was the only mistake I made then I'm happy. haha.
base
Definitely some loaded weight classes. 120 looks like (yes, I'm going to say it...) a meatgrinder with Hudkins, Ferguson, and Egli
SouthernIndianaVoice
Yeah definitely, I could see Ferguson or Egli dropping to 113 if they are able to.

Longbeard
What about the younger Lee at 126 from Mater Dei? Probably top three at that weight. FANMAN

TripleB
Rankings are handwritten....Hope to have them up by next Friday since it's opening weekend. Or maybe I'll just take a picture of my chicken scratch and post it....
SouthernIndianaVoice
Most of the weights are off of the state rankings that came out in the pre-season magazine. They had Willis at 106, Joe Lee at 132, If I didn't see there name then I just made a guess, some I kept at the same weight and some I just moved up a weight, its obviously way too early to know where everyone is going to end up...I think whatever weight the younger Lee goes he is the favorite as long as Hudkins stays at 120. backtothemat
For a baker's dozen you might add The Scherm(er)inator from Bloom So. (two wins over Alex Johnson last year)
SouthernIndianaVoice
Lahue would be above Johnson, and Johnson would be behind Schermer.

MattM
Schoolcraft from Martinsville at 220 graduated last year. Are you sure? I had him as a senior this year too. Checking back at past results it has him listed last year as a Junior and the previous year as a Sophmore. It would be rare to have the grade messed up two years in a row.
