Just wanted to give an attaboy to James Troyer @ the Peru regional. I didn't care for him when i wrestled on the 80's, but have to give him props fir being one of the few refs that always puts himself between the kids and hitting tables, walks, gym floors and such. He did it today and I've seen him do it repeatedly more than any other ref in our area. Keeping the kids safe is what they're there for, good job Troyer!

Completely agree.  Some of these weight classes are ridiculous.

We appreciate your confidence. And you're right......You can never count NC out period. They're too well coached and always make necessary adjustments. Looking forward to watching Buck get after it. And the Ragle bros. & Hines bros have the opportunity to accomplish something pretty special.

From what ive seen i dont think the weight difference will effect his explosiveness on his takedowns. As for his hands, we shall see.

@145 Buck vs Roth is a tough first round match up..Buck won 8-0 the first time they wrestled but that means nothing come tournament time

McCall's a tough one to get on short notice. He's tough to finish so you know you'll need cardio. Also, until Brooks gets a little bigger, he could potentially struggle to have the same pop with his hands and explosiveness with his takedowns as he did at 115. This will be a very real litmus test, that's for sure.

I'm going to have to agree with you guys on that. But I may be bit bias.

Yep, my best friend Nathan Pickle who was a monster in his own right wrestled him in the semis...Nathan is a very strong wrestler that went on to IU..he said Brimm was so fast and strong unlike anything he wrestled in HS...Nathan went on to beat some guy Named Jon Fitch to take 3rd that year in 96..

It was intense! Couldn't imagine how his opponent felt!
