Jimtown will host a Holiday Dual tournament on Dec 22 that should have some great match ups. Some teams are ranked in their class and others have some strong individuals and team showings this season.

How does it make him worse? I think both guys are studs and 2,3 isn't a huge snub to either guy.

I know middle school is wrapping up in Indiana, but thought I would mention that I have a lot of interest from kids from Edwardsburg, MI in the 90lb to 105lb range who plan to come to Jimtown and Mishawaka this spring.  We have larger/older kids also but there are plenty of those in the room already.  If you are looking for different partners for that size, we should have them.

Riley Horvath Jimtown placed 2nd at Elkhart Memorial. I was told at the tournament the first girl to make the finals and advance out of this sectional. 

In your 11 years officiating did you ever hear a negative reaction from a crowd when you thought you made the right call??
Im not trying to say that they made every call perfectly in the tournament. I get upset about calls from officials every weekend. I think in that group some are better than others but overall I didn’t think the officiating was as bad as you stated. My main point was most of those guys in that gym are getting up there in age and probably would love to be sitting in the stands watching great wrestling while some younger people join the officiating ranks, but for some reason people aren’t beating down the door to walk out there and officiate and get ridiculed on the internet for the calls they made. 
Lastly if a kid is stalling it doesn’t matter  what the score is or how much time is on the clock. 1 minute into the match or 2 seconds left

It’s great we have so many expert officials out there in the stands. During the coaches meeting they said they need more officials you should grab a whistle and some arm bands and show them how it’s done.

Tomorrow Night at 5:30pm we have a couple of Wabash Little Giants who are going to join us in the scrapyard!
Jared Timberman and Kyle Hatch will be in the room showing some technique and then mixing it up with all the studs in the room. Room has been fantastic average about 40 guys, including multiple state place winners and champions!

Several state qualifiers, placers and a champ getting after it in addition to kids who are ready to take their wrestling to another level! Thomas Pompei(Head Coach) is in his third year as the head coach of the Indiana Tech wrestling program and his seventh year overall at the program. Coming off a great NAIA national tournament where the Warriors had 6-All Americans and finished in the top 10!
Collin Crume (Assistant): Jimtown HS Graduate, HS State Runner Up 2011, 7th Place NAIA Nationals 2016
Alex Gregory (Assistant): Penn High School Graduate, 3X State Qualifier and 2x Placer taking 4th in 2009, and 2011. Wrestled collegiately at IU where he was a 3 year letter winner.
