Today at Evansville, Bray Emerine was out at 182.  This bumped McBee up to the 2 spot and Rose to the 3 spot.  McBee went from a Clay Martin ticket round match to a Gunnar Henry ticket round match.  Subsequently McBee loses in the ticket round, Rose qualifies for state beating Martin, and McBee has beaten Rose in back to back weekends.
 
I am not saying that McBee would have 100% beaten Martin and qualified for state but... he beat Rose the past 2 weekends and had earned that better opportunity.
 
Could there not be a rule in place, where when a guy is out... McBee can choose to go to the 2 spot or stay put?  Then Rose can choose to go to the 2 spot or stay put.  Then if both guys decide to stay put, they could just put the alternate in the 2 spot.
 
I just hate to see someone have their opportunity basically taken away by something that was out of their control.  Any thoughts?

Tobias (Northwood) over Wenk (Jay County) at 182 at FW 9-8.  At the very end they gave him a 3 point nearfall; however, the ref only swiped 3 times.  Wenk was clearly not exposed for 5 seconds.  Tough to see a guy lose that way but you cannot get thrown in the last 10 seconds.

If there was no Zeke Seltzer... Would Ison v Schoeff be the greatest rivalry of all time?
 
They arguably would’ve wrestled in the finals last year, would potentially meet in the finals this year, have next year as well, and could have wrestled 15+ times in HS going back and fourth.
 
Where would it rank with no Seltzer and 3 years at the same weight?

What is the worst draw in ticket round history?  Where you had 2 top 3ish guys and a legitimate top 3 guy went home.

Eli Stock from Monrovia took 3rd at regionals with a loss to Vanhorn of Franklin Community. Then avenged that loss the next weekend and won semi-state then followed that up by winning state the next weekend.
