Yorktown did a fine job and Cathedral as well. I just happened to see more of their matches. I witnessed a lot of hard wrestling and a lot of young men and women we should all be proud of. On a side note, I want to send a lot of praise to Jennings County. Before the finals, my wrestler and our coaches, and a couple of wrestlers who weren't wrestling that day, decided to go into the Mooresville Wrestling Room with our Chaplain to say a final prayer before Riley White wrestled in his final match of the day.
     Jennings County wrestlers were warming up, jumping rope and drilling. When we started our prayer in the corner of the room, they all stopped what they were doing and stayed quiet until we finished the prayer. Who said wrestlers have no class? If we don't start changing some things in Da Region our semi state is gonna start looking like Fort Worths. 

Lol I mean there is a guy named Forfeit that is actually ranked ahead of my junior wrestler. Now I know my guy is 0-0 but I promise you he actually comes to practice not sure of this guy named Forfeit.

They cancelled school yesterday all over da region. Kinda embarrassing a little cold - soft. Do yo think day shut ole #7 down when it is a little cold ? Deem smokestacks ain't stopping for a little cold.

It was just perfect! They should be used from here on out. I was only disappointed they didn't show them singing more. They clearly were the fan favorites. It just started off a perfect evening of championship matches. Girls I thank you from an old Vet. Coach Myers

I spoke with Jigger today and he said Randy Pinned him in the finals of the state in 1976.

I agree that Coach Schoettle and Staff are top notch and the program is in good hands for years to come. But, for you to say Coach Tonte abandoned anyone is absurd and quite frankly offends me as a parent of Perry wrestler(s) (past and current). This is the same man that has coached and done everything he could for each and everyone of the Perry wrestlers and parents as a whole. There is nothing more important then ones family (excluding God) and if being known as a traitor to do what's best for your family, then put me down as a traitor all day long! Go Falcons and best of luck to Coach Tonte, Krulik and Morgan.
