Solid picks…..

I feel Spears makes it out at 113

and Modglin over Behning at 175

165 top 3 could be any order

157 Davenport could be top 2

Can’t wait for Keen vs Faurote. A solid freshman trying to make a name vs a tough senior who doesn’t like to give up points!

Jay County Regional has always been tough, but it used to more top heavy and not very deep, with Yorktown and Belmont leading the way.

It's gotten incredibly deep recently. 120 has 5 wrestlers who have been ranked in the state at some point this year. 144 has 3 currently ranked wrestlers and a fourth that has been ranked most of the year. 165 has 3 ranked wrestlers.

It's interesting that this depth has started happening after the introduction of classed team state.

The Jay County Regional is basically 1A and 2A schools.

In my opinion, a lot of these schools have improved because of the chance that they could win 1A or 2A team state titles!

I don't think Jay County can beat Delta in team scores, even if Clark wasn't out for the season. I think we come away with at least 5 first placers and beat out Bellmont. The 165s might want to watch out for the Norwell kid, gave Myers a tough match and he's hungry.

Maybe not without Clark but they’re also missing Wittkamp, AJ Myers, Mills-Blowers, Taye Curtis. Pretty amazing what they accomplished this year without all those dudes. I agree with you the Norwell 65+75 are tough.

Did Wittkamp go back to Illinois?

Team race may be close, but I think Delta pulls it out.

I have Delta getting 10 out with 5 champs and 2 runner-up's.

I have Bellmont getting 9 out with 3 champs and 2 runner-up's.

No one else with more than 2 champs:

Cowan - 2 champs

AC - 1 champ

BL - 1 champ

JC - 1 champ

SA - 1 champ

6 matchups that will have a huge impact on team race:

113 Johns BL v Bollinger Delta - FINALS

120 Faurote  BELL v Jackson Delta  - SEMIFINALS

144 Bollenbacher SA v Rhonemus Delta   - SEMIFINALS

144 Wolpart BELL v Hoppes Y - SEMIFINALS

165 Myers BELL v Stebbins Delta -  FINALS

HW Baker BELL v Walters Daleville  - 1ST ROUND
