Rankings Guy can't you help bring some excitement to the board? PLEASE!!!!! Who cares if the weights are not correct. Who cares if kids are not going to wrestle or not. WE don't really care if it is their weight classes from last year GIVE US SOMETHING!

MattM
Joining Ranking Guys twitter following will give you the predicted #1 at the new weights. http://twitter.com/rankings_guy Aside from that the pre-season top 10 is traditionally made up of last years state finals non-senior placement at that same weight. Obviously with some weight adjustments this year and a few freshman studs added to the lightest weight class. http://www.ihsaa.org/dnn/Portals/0/Boys%20Sports/Wrestling/2010-11/1011StateBrackets.pdf So, you may not really need the ranking guys official list to come up with those names. rdrodd1
Just an opinion but I think that Malloy will be at 140 this year. Should make a great finals match... Tyler Willis will never see 160 again and will do very well at a higher weight as he was doing early on last season, Cathedral seems to be loading up again........Those Evansville boys will do very well again.....I think that Moss (coach at Ben Davis) is putting a special program together will have something to say here. Of course Coach Ellis and Tonte will have their two cents to throw in there.....Avon's HWT Snyder should be a hand full to deal with along with a few other kids....Watch for Danville to finally break out with a couple of more kids this year as well with Coach Puglisie....That Knura kid should be a killer... Like I said, just an opinion and I am kind of Central Indiana and South Bias..... Can't wait for another great year...

Jimtown 138
Sliga goes through that group like a hot knife thru butter. Well maybe just a warm knife with willis. Like a shark through sardines? Well maybe just an ill tempered sea bass through sardines with Willis...
Y2CJ41
Dr. Evil: You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here! What do we have? Number Two: Sea Bass. Dr. Evil: [pause] Right. Number Two: They're mutated sea bass. Dr. Evil: Are they ill tempered? Number Two: Absolutely. Dr. Evil: Oh well, that's a start. Big Hawaiian
I would think the IRISH will be tough for anyone to face, but make no mistake the Falcons are the team to beat! Venezsia #1 - #6, Smiley #3 - #8, Corsaro #1 - #4, Harvey #1 - #3, Willis #1 - #3, Bernard #1 - #6, and I think these results are very possible, and throw in Kenny who has flipped weights with Bernard, and you could have another placer, and little Harvey will also be tough!!! WC182Dad
Both are going to be very tough the Falcons and the Irish, never count Willis out he is a quick, strong, athlete, wrestler. Warren will have about 5 really solid wrestlers that should be at Conseco.

hammer
Mitch at 182? Expect him at 196---sophomore to junior year is a growing year I agree. If he's planning to be a 197 in college, it makes sense for him to go 196. He'd be a strong favorite at any of the weights from 182-220. Maybe he'll select a weight class based on where he can find the best competition?
